Krups Type Blender 577

The rubber seal at bottom of the glass jug came loose resulting in the jug leaking and eventually the rubber seal got blended. I need to know where I can buy a replacement seal and how do I attach it to the jug (all my previous attempts were unsuccessful)

As for where, start with Krups' web site (they have an online store that has parts...punch your blender model number into the search box). If that doesn't give look then use Google...there are ebay sellers and appliance stores that make these parts visible online. Do I need to tell you to use Google?

Blender jar leaks

Check the blade assembly if it is loose tighten it up. If it is worn out or cannot be tightened up then buy another jug complete with blade. If it is the glass jug model then the blade assembly is available without the jug and they also have a replaceable seal at the base.

Blender krups 577 how to take this product apart? specialtorx but how do i do then? I must change the grey gummi on top!!

Krups Blender 577 - first try not easy but next time it will be.
Replacing the rubber coubling is extremely difficult with this model.
After almost destroying the air in/outtake grill on the side in pursuit of a good lock of the axe I tried so hard to use a nose plier to grab the post and unscrew the coupling counter-clockwise but it just did'nt fit (it needs to be long and narrow/needle like). So I ended up cutting off more rubber on the coupling and also cutting of plastic from the black plastic cover which is just under the rubber coupling. In the end I was able to cut that plastic so that I could actually take off the whole casing (you need a torx 20 with a hole in it)with the rubber coupling still attached and detach two power cables so that I had much more space to properly grab the post and then it was very very easy to unscrew it counter-clockwise. But up until then I lost my insanity twice :-).
The next time it will be easy.

Seal in the bottom of the blender is loose and when I pour stuff in it just goes straight thru the bottom. Can I tighten it? Or Do I need a new canister? The blender motor is fine.

I am sorry, from the description I cannot work out what seal you are referring to. Please can you let us know the exact model number of the blender and whether the jug is glass or plastic?

My jugs are leaking too at the bottom. If anybody finds the replacement jugs somewhere please let me know. I have a double smoothie maker model 5787. Thanks! email me at [email protected]

My blender would do that if I didn't screw the jar on firmly enough. Sometimes the action of the blades will even loosen the bottom from the jar during blending, so I always hold the jar handle while the blending is going on. That way if it starts to undo, I can twist it back tight. Before I learned that trick I had smoothies leaking out the bottom - what a mess! Also make sure you put the gasket/seal on in the right order. If it's in the wrong place it won't seal correctly.

I have a krups 574 blender. The male part of the

I carved off the rubber with a knife; inserted a flathead screwdriver throught the slot in the bottom to hold the gear in place; using pliers I unscrewed (COUNTERCLOCKWISE) the rubber gear.
