The auto paper insertion switch is probably stuck/bad. It's activated when you pull the paper bail forward. Sometimes moving the bail to and fro firmly, several times will free it. It's located on the left rear of the platen, if you can get the cover off.

Those error codes don't really mean very much to the general consumer, but blue screens of deaths are caused by bad RAM memory in your computer, not viruses. I'm going to take a guess that your computer is either several years old and/or it constantly get quite warm? Heat can shorten the life of computer components by quite a bit. You may need to get one of your RAM cards replaced to solve this issue.

There's a free program called Memtest86 that you can run to determine if this is the case. It will scan all your memory and look for bad sectors. You can download it here: http://www.memtest86.com/ and burn it to a CD. What it does is create a bootable CD that will execute the program as the computer turns on to scan all the memory. There are full instructions on their website. The process can take an hour or two depending on how much memory your computer has, and if it turns up any bad sectors then you know what your problem is.

A computer can run with bad sectors in the memory, but it makes it unstable that it will keep bluescreening, so if you have bad sectors in your memory it might be better just to replace the RAM. Luckily, this isn't too expensive. For instance, if your computer has 4GB of memory, it probably has 2 2GB RAM cards installed. You can get a 2GB replacement notebook memory for, I'd say $30 or $40. Installing RAM is very simple, and if you're willing to install it yourself, it won't cost you more than that.

Acer Aspire 5732ZG, when I see video, my laptop frozen. (picture, mouse and voice also) Have to turn off and restart , but the problem is not solved this way

This may be a ram memory issue, remove one stick of ram and test, if no! remove second piece and replace the first one and test, if okay! the memory stick in your hand is defective.

Computer does not start . When powered up it give message on monitor screen " Parity errorsystem halted" . Please suggest the solution for it?

@mahesh_0552

Parity Errors are caused by faulty RAM or memory chip. This occurs when data is leaked when it's passed thru the RAM (usually during POST - Power On Self Test - this is the mode when the computer boots up and initially check for hardware components connected to the computer). In this case, you need to replace your memory.

Compaq ProLiant DL380 G2 boot error. Front panel led "Internal health" initially green, then goes red with 2 second beep alternating with 2 second off. All ram leds yellow - only two populated. ...

You can get all of the documentation here

Also, Judging that the LEDs are not corresponding with the servers actual status (processor LED), This server may have been taken apart and the wires to the status leds were incorrectly reconnected. I would look at the documentation for the motherboard and compare to the wiring diagram. The RAM May be an issue. Depends on whether the machine makes it past POST (Power On Self Test). If it does, The ram is fine. If not, I would inspect that beep code further. It probably has something to do with the memory. If the memory is malfunctioning, you will get no response from the machine other than beep codes and status leds. According to the documentation, the closest match for your beep code means this:

207-Memory Configuration Warning -
DIMM In Socket X does not have Primary Width of 4 and only supports standard ECC.
Advanced ECC does not function when mixing DIMMs with Primary Widths of x4 and x8.
Audible Beeps: 1 long, 1 short, or none
Possible Cause: Installed DIMMs have a primary width of x8.
Action: Install DIMMs that have a primary width of x4 if Advanced ECC memory support is required.

I hope this helps. Thank you for choosing fixya.com
