Sub Speaker giving intermittent loud crackling and sharp loud popping sounds even with main volume control turned off. Crackling sound can be reduced by turning sub volume control off.

It may be the control itself too. In time, these controls can get dust build up inside it. There are volume control spray cleaners available from Radio Shack or other electronic parts stores. The cheat on cleaning the control is to just rotate it from stop to stop as many times as it takes to clear the noise.

My father has a Dynex LCD TV, Model DX-37L130A11 Rev A, sticker says 10H07-Rev A. Manufactured August 2010, Lot #: 205204 XHT 100453. A few days ago he said the audio started emitting a loud, cracking...

It sounds like you've done quite a bit of troubleshooting, which I applaud you for doing. Have you tried power cycling the TV? Simply turn off the TV, unplug it (and any components connected to it), then plug it back in and turn it on after a minute. See if this corrects the issue. If it doesn't, then I would recommend calling our Product Support team to schedule repairs at:
U.S., Canada, & Puerto Rico - 1-800-305-2204
Mexico - 1-888-882-7326
daily from 7 am - 12 am CT.

What is wrong with my Samsung HLS42WX/XAA everytime I turn it on after ten minutes the volume start making a loud crackling sound then there is no volume sound at all. What do I need to do to get this

It clearly may be a sound problem in the set but a few things you might check, First of course is do you have this issue on all inputs including the rear ones, does a DVD player connected to a rear input do this or not?

If you have a box connected to this set unplug both the box and set from power for a while, cannot hurt but may help.

If using a box and set does not do this with a DVD it may be possible to get around the problem.

A box or even the tuner in the set may be the cause==your tuner not only processes regular signal but also develops the sound signal, it may be bad.

I have a 42 inch Hitachi plasma tv that is making a very loud static noice coming from the internal speakers. It stays at a contstant very loud volume unless I completly mute the tv or turn the volum

Based on what you have tried if a buzz or loud static via the speakers you have something wrong in the audio output circuit of the set--problem here is that circuit may be part of the Main board that processes all signal---a look inside---following the speaker leads back would lead you to that board.

A simple thing to do to narrow it a little (you may have done this) is with sound all the way off put your ear to the internal speaker--hear anything at all like a deep hum?

Depending on age of set and cost of the board likely bad it may or may not be a do it yourself repair.

Marshall MG50 DFX, the volume knob OD channel crackles

Either the control is damaged (happens if they get hit) or it is possible the circuit board it is mounted on has broken solder OR worse, a crack near the control. The unit will require servicing. Parts are readily available.

Continuous crackling from TV speakers

I'm sure you have figured this one out. TV itself is causing the problems.
The circuit board that produces the audio signal seems to be the problem.
Before you call the repairman, go to the web site Shopjimmy.com just to get an idea of what the parts will cost. That way he doesn't rip you off.

I hope I answered your question correctly. Please rate me. :)
