- I have the same problem. I think it has to do with the water that collects at the bottom of the door seal and gets all moldy. Poor design if you ask me. Washing with bleach doesn't seem to help. I periodically wipe out the collected water, but that has to be done almost every time. - marklc1

Do you wash whites separately or with bleach? Sometimes changing up the loads to whites with bleach would kill the germs.

put a small box of automatic dishwasher powder in unit and run on hot washcycle.

Run a load with only bleach in all three dispensers (be sure to select bleach cycle) and run a HOT cycle. This worked for me.
