Question about Printers & Copiers

I have a Canon i350 printer. The message says Waste Ink Absorber is Full, but I can't find any place in my Canon guide where it tells me how to find the waste ink absorber, let alone empty it. Any ideas? Gary gfmay@sympatico.ca

I have a canon pixmar mp 500 printer. It says waste ink absorber is full. Empty it. I can't find my manual. How do I do it?

Why is there nothing under the Help topics to tell you how to do this? Why can't you contact Canon as they dont give any contact names or numbers on their global site?
I don't have the courage to try and fix this if I am not sure what I am doing. So I am doing nothing.

Try to contact Canon support line, since it is not in your user's guide it is something that they can handle or check. I may think its something in the hardware of your printer.

Printer says ''waste Ink absorber is full'' see service center

This is what the manual says: Ink used for cleaning is absorbed in a waste ink absorber placed in the machine. Press [OK] to cancel the error so that you can continue printing. Once the waste ink absorber becomes completely full, printing cannot be done until the waste ink absorber is replaced.
Canon recommends to contact a Canon service representative as soon as possible.

Canon i350 printer waste ink tray full.

according to cannon the Waste ink ABORBER not tank is getting full. To clear this error press resume and print button. But this will only fix your problem if at all for a short time as this is not considered user replaceable part. You can contact canon on line at http://consumer.usa.canon.com Good luck
