Question about Samsung DVD-VR330 VCR and DVD Recorder
Will it play audio CDs? If so the laser assembly is faulty.
The head uses an IR LED to read CDs, a red laser to read DVDs, so if one works not the other, the head is usually poorly.
I ahve the same problem and am trying to find the correct replacement for it. If anyone know the part number it would help.

I know the slightest bit of dust either on the disk or in the player causes this in mine. Usually I can simply wipe the disk with a soft cloth when mine does it and it works fine.
