My psp was working perfect until one day it didnt turn on ,but the green light does. also my battery only holds a charge for about three hours.theres no picture at all,I tryed just using the charger but still nothing happens.Im hoping its a minor problem,could it be I need a new battery or not? please let me know what you think?
Hey guy's can you help me i was upgrading my psp from 5.03 gen c full to 5.50 gen d full and when the installion is completed it said reboot your psp or shutdown i click the reboot button and suddenly the screen was all black i let it stayed black for 10 minutes but it is still black the green light is working but the screen is black
Leave it untill it discharged ,then the green light will switched off ,then put it in the charger and use it normally , But really i don't know the reason

Take out the battery pack out clean the parts that connects but don't touch it i learned it from the movie First Sunday
You can try taking out the battery then, plug up the charger, and then turn on the psp.

first pandora battery (youtube)
second magic memoory stick
third download Despartar v4+v5
put in the magic memorystick and pandora battery
goto despartar v5
download 3.90 m33
press X when done

yes, i have the same problem, i recently installed Custom-Firm-Ware 3.90 and changed the Gameboot/theme to a Gears Of War one and now it wont show it. The screen stays black but the light is green and it automatically turns of in a few seconds please help and contact me

My psp that I bought on July 20th has stopped working!! The power light (green) turns on, but the screen remains blank. The green light only stays on for a few seconds. Please help, as this psp is new and this is very frustrating.

i have the same problem. you turn it on and the green light stays on for about 10-15 seconds and goes out. the console never comes on. i noticed the last thing it said was to call technical support. help.
