Try pressing and holding the power button for about 10-15 seconds. This will turn off the laptop. She can then press the power button to turn it back on. If it freezes again then there may be bigger problems.

Hope this helps! : )

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

My acer 15.6inch the cursor is frozen wont move

Hello,

Which mouse are you using? Is it the integrated mouse or the USB mouse?

If you are using the USB mouse, then try checking if it's plugged in correctly.

If it's your integrated mouse, then restart the computer and when it's up. Try moving your mouse. Restarting it usually does the trick.

If restarting it won't fix the problem, then restart and boot to safe mode. While restarting, tap F8 until you see the options to boot to safe mode. Highlight safe mode by using the arrow keys and hit enter. When you are in safe mode, try moving your mouse. Works or not - update the mouse driver. You can use RadarSync. If no go, then you might need to do a system restore. If worse comes worst, do a complete operating system reinstallation.

I hope this helps!

The mouse or arrow of my pc stops and i have to restart my pc again.

Hello,

Confirm if your PC is frozen, or if the mouse has stopped working by pressing the WINDOWS key on your keyboard. If the mouse has frozen, pressing the windows key will bring up the start menu. If it does not open, then the Operating system is frozen. Try opening your DVD / CD-ROM device. When it opens, the PC is not frozen.

If the Operating system is frozen, then most likely you have a Hard Drive problem, extreme Hard Drive fragmentation or corrupt system files causing this.

Yes, some laptops have a modem, some don't. Just make sure when you buy. You will probably want to know also if the modem supports data/fax.

You're not going to see your friends on your web cam, have they checked their cables for proper connection, as well have you checked yours and made sure you have the most updated driver for your cam and the software running it.

Can I connect a mini plug DIGITAL audio source into these?

Hello bobbobbob, These speakers would work great. First question is: Do you already own these speakers, or would you be buying them? If you already own them, then yes, use them, if not, a more economical solution would be the Bose Companion 2 speakers here: http://www.bose.com/controller?event=VIEW_PRODUCT_PAGE_EVENT&product=companion2_multimedia_index These are about half the price, and have exceptional clarity for someone like your aunt. They also will allow her flat panel TV to plug and play very easily. Please let us know if you need any additional information. Best regards and kudos for helping your aunt out! nightdiver
