I want ti install JDK version 1.5

1.Remove the previous version of Java installed on your computer by selecting "Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs" from your computer's Start menu. Then, choose the Java program in the program listing and select the remove icon.

2. Uninstall Quicktime from the Add/Remove Programs menu after Java is uninstalled. In past versions of Quicktime, it has been known to interfere with new Java JDK installations.

3.Download JDK 1.5 from the link listed in the Resources section of this article.

4.Choose the installer program after download is complete and choose the default menu options displayed by the installer to install the JDK to your computer. Restart your computer after installation is complete and you will have JDK 1.5 installed on your computer.

Fatal error during installation

First u must make sure to close and exit all the applications that are using the resource of JDK.
Method 1: disable the auto load of JDK on machine start up from System Configuration Utility. Then reboot and try to uninstall again from the Add or Remove Programs.
Method 2: reinstall JDK and immediately uninstall it after the installation done. Or maybe u will found the uninstall function during the JDK setup.
Method 3: can try to use the cleaner software like CCleaner to uninstall the JDK application.

Have been given a Lanier015spf photocopier and would like to know how to use the scanner function?

Hi netz:

I found a couple things to help you out. First of all, youre going to need to install the driver (if you didnt get the CD)

If you are using Vista, click here

If you are still using Windows XP, click here

After installing the copier (nice gift, by the way), you can operate the scan function by:

1. On the device's operation panel, press the [Scanner] key.

2. Press [Original Feed Type].

3. Select [Batch] or [SADF].

To scan originals using the exposure glass, select [Batch]. To scan originals using the ADF, select [SADF].

4. Press [OK].

5. Place originals.

6. Press [Start] to scan originals.

7. If [Batch] is selected, place additional originals, and then press [Start].

8. If [SADF] is selected, scanning starts automatically when you place additional originals.

9. Repeat this step until all originals are scanned.

10. After all originals are scanned, press [#].

11. Storing or transmission starts.

If you have any additional questions, dont hesitate to ask. Also, for future reference, here is the manual for your copier.

NOTE: your model number is actually LD015
and most manuals and drivers associated with your product can be used for the LD015f ; LD015spf and vice versa

Hope this helps,

SADF Mode problem

Try turning off the machine, pushing and holding the utility key and turning it on, don't take your finger off the key. You should see a blank screen with one touch button on it saying Trouble Reset. Press it, if the machine doesn't reset itself turn it off and one again.
