The hose leading out of the water heater on the inside of the trailer has rusted off. My dad has in the past use epoxy putty to repair it but it has come loose again and I would like to know if and how it can be repaired. The trailer is a 1997 Savannah by Fleetwood. I do not know the brand of the water heater but the Model # is GC10A-3E the serial # is 94113014947and the spec # is 113027. I don't know what the part is called and really don't want to replace the heater. Thank you

Coming out of the back should be a 1/2" NPT short nipple, or a check valve with 1/2" NPT threads. ( NPT = National pipe thread. Just ask for a 1/2" galvanized pipe nipple the right length.(short, or 2" usually) If it's a check valve, it will usually be brass or plastic/nylon. I prefer galvanized just because the tend to hold up better. Most water lines connect to that, unless yours has a different fitting such as a female flare going to a male flare fitting in tank. Either way, you'll have to get old one out and match it, to allow for water line fitting to re-attach, or change end of water line to proper fitting to attach to nipple. Without seeing exactly what you have, I can't explain exactly what you need to do.

Rudd power vent gas water heater

Short term, you can clean the hole, dry it and use Epoxy Putty to stop the leak. That part will need replacing though.

How do I fix a broken water pipe?

Plastic or metal? You have to get under the trailer to do this. You have to cut off the bad pipe and use new pipe. You should see about using shark bite connectors to make this easier.

I would like to know how to turn on (run) 110 V for the water heater on a Conquest/Gulf Stream Travel Trailer?

Must be filled with water or elements burn out

If water heater is plugged in and outlet has power... then water should be hot.
If no water inside tank, and tank is plugged in, and outlet has power, then element is burned out.

Drain valve plastic slow leak 81V-80D

If the drip is coming out of drain valve: Put a hose cap over end of drain valve.
If water is seeping out of cracked drain vale, then replace it.
If the leak is seeping around previously sealed threads, then tank may be rusted beyond repair.

Turned off the hot water to fix a leaking tap. now the tap has no hot or cold water and the hot water tank valve is leaking?

It sounds like two problems.
Problem 1) Clog inside faucet or clog inside pipes at faucet
Remove supply tubes leading to faucet and see if problem is inside pipes or inside faucet.
My bet is clog inside faucet.

If you have galvanized pipe that meets copper pipe, this can be trouble spot.

Article on clogged pipes:

Problem 2) Water heater leak ... you say tank valve is leaking? Is that cold-water shut-off valve? Or tank drain valve? Or TP valve?

If cold water shut-off is leaking, then replace shut off.

If tank drain valve is leaking, then check if plastic valve is cracked. If drain valve is cracked, then replace with a brass valve from Home Depot. If plastic valve breaks off, then use hammer and screwdriver to gently chip out the broken plastic valve. New valve threads need teflon tape to seal pipe. If valve is just dripping, then put garden-hose cap over end of valve and screw down tight.

If TP valve is leaking, then replace with same temperature and pressure rating.
New TP valve threads need teflon tape to seal pipe.

Problem 3) If pressure is low all over house:
Buy pressure gauge at hardware store that screws onto hose connection.

Test pressure on outdoor spigot.
Open faucet and check if pressure drops. This says if problem is inside pipes that enter house.

Test pressure on water heater drain valve.
This says if pressure problem is before -or- after water heater.

If problem is before the water heater, then shut-off valve located on cold water line is suspect.
If problem is after water heater, it could be in hot water outflow pipe on top of water heater, or a nearby elbow.

Remove hot water line leading from water heater and check pressure. This says if problem is where hot water leaves tank.
Read articles above about clogs inside water lines.

Water Heater drain leaks and has caused rusting on tank

If you're sure it's the DRAIN, just get a garden hose cap for it (your other option is to replace the valve - drain tank, replace valve, refill).
NEVER CAP THE RELIEF VALVE DRAIN!
