Unlock codes come from the network provider - usually takes around a week after you call up and request it.
I'd avoid other services like shops or websites that offer the service as we've had a phone bricked in the past when a shop did it.
Regards the screen - that can't be a common or easy to fix problem so you need to take it to the shop.
Now the numbers change depending on your cell phone carrier, however there should be a three digit number that updates your phone, connects it to local cell towers and gets it up to date. Should update your software, clocks, and service. Typically it's 611, but once agan it varies for each carrier. Just ask your provider what the number is, dial it, and your phone will update.
There are two things you have tto check. 1. Your charger is perfect-check and replace it. And secondly, don't keep continuing in charging after you get indication of charging completed, remove charger.
OK, sorry to tell you but I did the same thing. The phone will work but your favs will not show up on the screen. You call still them for free and you can manage them online @ tmobile but you will have to assign them a speed dial #. It's a shame that tmobile ( & others) do this but they do. Good luck.
