OK, you have a Syncmaster 913v.

Here is a link to it on the Samsung site:

If you need service/replacement there is a warranty link there too.

If you need more assistance, post back with specific details describing your problem and we'll try to assist.

I have a samsung 740N 17" TFT monitor. When switch on computor(its CPU) and then monitor. Monitor goes to slip. There is no sign of its on, except blue light at bottom right of the monitor.

Try connecting another monitor to the computer.

If it works, then the monitor is faulty and should be checked .
If it does not work, then probably the videocard of your computer needs to be replaced.

I have a reset disk and if reset it there is an error occured while the wizard was attempting to set the password for this user account

Hello.

I suspect that your hard disk drive is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Try running the diagnostics for your computer. Power on your computer and press F12 repeatedly. Or, try F2. Then run the hardware diagnostics to see if your hard drive is faulty.

Hope this helps.

I have the samsung syncmaster 913v 19'' lcd monitor.Recently, the thing blacks out after 1 hr or so and the not optimum mode signal appears.I cannot raise the resolution above 1024x768 without blacking out...

It seems like a lot of people have experienced this issue after a year or two of use. There are two things people reported working...

Try adjusting the refresh rate higher or lower... 60Hz is usually stable in any resolution.

Completely unplug monitor for 5 minutes or longer. Seems like it works for some and not others.

Samsung has a 3 year warranty. If neither solution works, see if it is still under warranty.

Good luck!

I have recently bought a samsung 750gb portable hard drive, everything was great I plugged it in and started to transfer videos onto it. After about 6~7 hrs the hard disc started making a constant clicking...

Does it still make a clicking sound? If so, 2 reasons for this are: the USB or Firewire connection is faulty or yes, your hard drive is faulty. Try a different USB or Firewire port and see if it helps, otherwise return it for a new one. There is no need to keep one that you never know if and when it will fail. Good luck.
