Question about Acer Aspire™ T180 PC Desktop

Colour Display Problem

I have a brand new desktop that has only pink to red colour options for display. I tried to setup the desktop dicplay, font and background colurs but there are no options of colurs expect pink to colurs only. What is the problem and how can I fix this?

    I posted a solution and recieved emails informing me to view solution but on trying to view, I am just seing the problem I posted. How do I go about viewing my solution on the click here or profile options??

Please check is there any magnetic field is nearby (speakers etc) if yes then try by removing the field and check,
As our respected experts Ekse is telling you can try his suggestion.
If still the problem is not solved then you should contact the local vendor from whom you have purchased the monitor.

Hello,

The Monitor got a low voltage power supply.. try to unplug the monitor and replug it again. this will resolve the issue.

    Also try refixing the connection toward the Video card some pin not connected very well.

Hi,

If you are using WindowsXP, try to use System Restore, you can find it by clicking

1. START
2. ALL PROGRAMS
3. ACCESSORIES
4. SYSTEM TOOLS
5. Mark the RESTORE MY COMPUTER TO AN EARLIER TIME
6. Click NEXT
7. Choose a date where SYSTEM CHECKPOINT is present.

You computer will restart automatically, wait until the Process Status is completed.

This may be a problem with video cable between your pc and the monitor. if you try twisting / waveing the cable do the colors change?

do you have full range of colors anywhere on the computer or is it pink and red colors only?

    since this is a brand new computer, I'm sure you have a long warranty still left, so you can contact your dealer for a replacement / repairs. But first lets figure out is this a software setting wrong somewhere.

To start (quick check if nothing is wrong with the camera) put it in automatic mode. Put the mode dial in Auto or SR Auto.
No other option. Then shoot some pictures. these should have a normal colour.

My moniter (dell m992) has suddenly gone a funny colour. its showing what should be the colour green its now black colour and were the colour should be red its an orange colour. so im getting no green or...


click start control panel,display,desktop you can select a different desktop from the drop down list
or a browse button where you can select different pictures this may vary depending on your operating system
also settings you can change the settings for more or less pixels or from the drop down list pick the appropriate level of color range or troubleshoot also select advanced then general dpi normal size,larger size or custom settings
always click APPLY after making any changes
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scoll to scroll to monitors + to expand plug and play monitor you might see a yellow question or exclamation mark ? or red x you will have to update the driver right click where you have options to update driver
if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it or you could download

How to increase size & colour of fonts I have


Hi there !

Right click on your desktop, choose personalize, choose display, choose set custom text size (DPI), then choose the percentage of scale you want. Once you choose and click apply, it will autmatically log off to apply the new setting.

Display is not clear in the monitor(colour is not orginal)


Right click empty space on desktop screen
see PROPERTIES in dialogue box ?
open SETTING TAB adjust fonts adjust setting for resolution also adjust choices in font shadow You can check box for clear edges of icons

I bought new ink black and color but i try to print in pink and i can't how can i print in pink

Do you get other colours except pink?
If that is the case,reasons could be:
1. there is not enough RED or BLUE in the cartridge.
2. you haven't selected pink colour on the text or images you are trying to print.
If you are typing a document highlight the text you want in pink, and choose PINK color for the font.
Then print the document. The printer will use color closest to your choice, if it does not have the exact color.

My system works properly but the display colour may be change means in the colour of white it will display yellow.


if u have any cd along with ur monitor re install the display drivers.
or u can trobleshoot by using windows help

write clik on desktop blank space go to properties then setting display seting apeear and troubleshoot option now u can solve ur problem
