look down at the bottom crisper and there should be an air control that lets more or less air in from the freezer section. close this control down so that most of the air stays in the freezer. some models may say meats(colder) and vegetables(warmer).
some models the control in the down position opens up the vent more allowing it to get colder and in the up position closes the vent down more allowing less cold air into the refrigerator. you can remove the crisper and experiment with the control.
cold, damp air, condensates on warm shiny surfaces(bathroom mirror),try putting kitchen towel under the crisper...(why they put crispers on bottom of fridge instead of on top of the cooling coils at the top of the fridge ???)
hi there......you havent stated the manufacturer of your fridge...however obtaining shelves for your fridge should be no problem..provided you have the model and serial number and if possible the product code.(a) contact your local your local domestic apliance repair/spares shop....(b) go online to the manufacturers web site...(c) go on line to google enter your fridge details this will provide you with information where to obtain your parts...
the door shelf may be a different issue...if the shelf is part of the door lining then you will need a relpacemant door
I need your model number, you may have a problem with your thermistat. Sears uses a different model number system than everyone. The model number will look like this 231.0564879 for example. Or yours may have electronic vents. Let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

I've had the same issue with an Amana BX21TL. In my case, the problem was that the various air flow adjustments were all directing the cold air to the bottom of the fridge, underneath the vegetable crispers.
What I've done to fix this was: 1- Made sure there was a tight seal between the vent opening at the back of the fridge (at about mid-height) and the rubber/plastic duct that directs air to the meat/cheese drawer. 2- Made sure that the adjustable opening at the back of the meat/cheese drawer was fully open. 3- Made sure that the adjustable opening at the back of both vegetable crispers were fully open.
If the freezer is on top then empty out the freezer and remove the bottom and back liner of the freezer compartment usually phillips screws. In the back you will see the freezer coils along with a defrost element. Below these two items u will see a drip tray that collects water from the coils on defrost cycle, in the center of the pan will be a drain hole that connects to a hose that leads to a pan under the refrigerator.Normally the water is collected there and evaporated. The hole in the tray in the freezer is clogged. Thaw it and clean it until you can pour water in it and it goes to the pan down below. please rate me
http://www.partselect.com/Schematics/Maytag/54436.gif Maybe this diagram will help you. www.partselect.com I just replaced the Crisper Shelf Frame. I received it very quickly. I am now looking for some sort of support for the whole shelf, because it still seems to be sagging. I may have to invent something. If anyone out there has a solution, please post it.
A whirlpool dealer should be able to order the part you need short of replacing the whole door. Give them the model and serial number of your product. Whirlpool also provides a 800 help line which should be listed in your owners manual. Give the girl a break as things happen.
