Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

If it says to restart, then restart the computer. If that doesn't work try uninstalling and reinstalling the program again. Sometimes installers can be corrupted.

When publishing the recorded video to DVD Disc, the unspecify error occur. already trimmed movie to 8min and 500kb file wmm. using windows movie maker.

That's really bad quality (and a waste of a 4.7GB DVD) for 8 minutes if it's really 500kb; the opposite if it's 500kb/s. It sounds like you're using Windows 7, but an unspecified error is pretty useless! Try examining the message for details, and look in application logs (you might have to enable them) to get a proper error message. That'll let you know what trouble it might be having upsampling your video to DVD.

To correct this, you will need to either upgrade the RAM memory in your computer system or close everything off but the Windowes Movie Maker program. I made a few videos during the christmas season and it did the same thing to me. After i closed off all the applications and programs running in the back round, the audio and video stayed in sync. Press the "Ctrl, alt, and delete" buttons on your keyboard all at one time to bring up the "Windows Task Manager" Now, click on "processes' and end the ones you are not using, these programs running in the backround are slowing your computer down causing that lag in your movie maker.

There are plenty of FREE open source media players that you can use. I recommend VLC player. It will play everything, unless the file is corrupted.

USING VISTA FOR POWERPOINT, INTERNET AND DOCUMENTATION

You need to install Microsoft Powerpoint to do power point presentations. Its part of Microsoft Office

However, Windows Vista does come with a movie maker installed.
Click on the start button, then all programs and you should see it listed in the programs there

If it doesnt run and gives you an error message then follow this link to get a version that will work with your computer. DO not download it if windows movie maker works
