If you are talking about using Outlook as your email client, then here is the directions for creating a signature.

Create a signature for messages
If Microsoft Word is your e-mail editor, see Word Help. Word offers the most customization options for signatures.

  1. From the main Microsoft Outlook window, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.
  2. In the Compose in this message format list, click the message format that you want to use the signature with.
  3. Under Signature, click Signatures, and then click New.
  4. In the Enter a name for your new signature box, enter a name.
  5. Under Choose how to create your signature, select the option you want.
  6. Click Next.
  7. In the Signature text box, type the text you want to include in the signature. You can also paste text to this box from another document.
  8. To change the paragraph or font format, select the text, click Font or Paragraph, and then select the options you want. These options are not available if you use plain text as your message format.
  9. To add an electronic business card — vCard — to the signature, under vCard options, select a vCard from the list, or click New vCard from Contact.
  10. Click Finish when you are done editing the new signature.
Once you've created a signature, you can insert a signature in a message

Batch downloading multiple web pages

Looking for a way to download multiple web pages, images or other files from web sites without using a browser?

First, download and install URL2File Windows Application, which is the program we'll be using in this example (URL2File Windows Application is a product of Chami.com). URL2File can retrieve and save the content of a given World Wide Web URL to a local file. So, to retrieve the web page at http://www.chami.com/tips/ and save it to a local file named tips.htm, run the following command from a Windows Command Prompt/DOS Box:URL2File http://www.chami.com/tips/ tips.htmNote the format of the above command: URL2File followed by the web page/file address and the name of the file that you want to save the content as.The next step is to create a batch file that can call URL2File for eachfile you need to download. A Windows batch file is a text file with alist of commands, usually with the .BAT extension.Let's assume that there are three files named file1.zip, file2.zip and file3.zip at http://www.chami.com/tips/ that you need to download. To create a batch file to download above files:
  • Open Windows Notepad
  • Enter following three commands into the blank notepad (one command per file to be downloaded):URL2File http://www.chami.com/tips/file1.zip file1.zip
    URL2File http://www.chami.com/tips/file2.zip file2.zip
    URL2File http://www.chami.com/tips/file3.zip file3.zip
  • Save the notepad file with a name of your choice followed by .BAT ("download.bat" for example)
Now run "download.bat" from your Windows Command Prompt/DOS Box by typing:downloadand hitting ENTER. The newlycreated batch file will call URL2File three times for each of the threefiles and sequentially download them for you. To download other files, simply modify the batch file and run it again.

Hi jjohnfixer The download works fine U can try for yourself this is in the web root http://pages.videotron.com/mikelac/demosong01.mp3 and i also created another directory with only the files that where...

Hi, Michael. Okay, I found your problem. Your site does not have PHP enabled. To demonstrate, try this link:

http://pages.videotron.com/mikelac//flashmp3player/flashmp3player.php?file_dir=mp3

Expected:

A blank page which, when you view the source of the page, contains a list of filenames to play. That will be the source data for the Flash music player. It looks like this (again, when you "view source" in your browser): http://pastebin.com/EUeSbd8C

Actual:

Instead, you see the source code of the php page. That means the webserver is not actually running the PHP code, it's just treating it like any old text file.

You will need to find a way to enable PHP on your web host.

Create a file called "test.php" in your web root and paste in the little PHP snippet on this page: http://pastebin.com/BaUinLjs

You can use that to tell if PHP is working on your site. It should say just "hello world" and not show any PHP code when you load the page when PHP is enabled.

Hope that helps!

What is the meaning of X in the word DOCX?

The X stands for XML (Extensible Markup Language), which is the programming language behind the scenes in Office 2007 programs.
Previous versions of Word were based on binary data. Binary data is, by nature, prone to corruption, and "bloated."
By changing the background code, Microsoft was able to create new tools and features in Word 2007 that would not have been possible otherwise.

I cant put a signature on the end of a message

Hi, Go to the settings of your mail id and select Signature field and create a signature and press save/update button. If you are using Microsoft Outlook then go to tools->options>Mail Format. Select Signature tab.then either create a new siganature or if you have already created then select that one.
Now whenever you send an email your signature is already appended to that mail. Thanks!

Okay, you're either asking one of two things. First, you seem to be asking how to make web-pages visible online. Second, you seem to be asking how to upload a program to the web to allow people to download it.

So, in response to the first possible question.. To do that you need to set up a web-host. There are some which are free, and some which you have to pay for. Upon setting up an account you receive your own personal web-address at which all the files on your web-server are accessible. Here are some web-hosts which you can use:

www.freewebs.com (free)
www.godaddy.com
www.hostmonster.com

After setting up an account you will receive details on how to upload files to the server. Using those details you will upload your web-pages to the server where they will then be accessible from your personal web-link.

Now in response to your second possible question.. To make your program accessible from the web for download, you will first want to zip or rar it up into an archive. You do this by first downloading WinRAR, afterward you make a new archive selecting the files you wish to be in that archive. Once the archive has been created, upload the .rar or .zip file to MediaFire. Once the upload process is complete MediaFire will provide you with the link to the file so you and other people can download the archive.

Let me know if I can assist you with anything else. If I need to explain anything mentioned above in more detail, simply let me know. If this answered your question(s), please rate the solution.

Saving Web page...

When you are at a page you wish to save, go to File/Save As. While saving, make sure that the "Save As Type" has Web Page, Complete selected. It will save an html file, but it will also save all of the other files in a folder in the same directory with the same name as the html file. Note that anything with the prefix https:// cannot be saved.

Swrflash.ocx could have affected some programs

Try downloading the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, Shockwave Player and Adobe Reader (Acrobat 8).

ALL FREE http://www.adobe.com/downloads/

Some pages created with later versions of Acrobat will not run on earlier versions.

Also, some Acrobat pages from links on web pages have problems loading.... try saving the file first (eg: right click on the link, select Save Target As) then open from the saved file.

Hope this helps.
