I bought the VR330 a couple years ago and when I had to send it in for repair just after warranty, I needed to finalize a bunch of DVDs that I had not finished on the vr330. That meant I needed another unit while this one was gone. I did not want another Samsung but had to buy one as that was all that would finalize my 50 or so DVDs I had not finalized into finished DVDs on the vr330. Well I bought another Samsung but a newer model a DVD VR357. Before six months was over the vr330 I had just gotten back failed again. That left me with the VR357, the newest combo DVD VCR unit to use. Before I had even gotten through a single pack of DVD RWs both units were dead and not working.
Now I paid like around $100 for the repair of the VR330 and of coarse I bought both units new at Best Buy here in Springfield Illinois. I still have about 30 or so DVDs not finalized and never got through my first package of blank Discs. What can you do to help me on this, as I'm not rich just a common guy, retired Grandpa that is fighting cancer.
I'd sure like to be able to record my Christmas shows this year. Can you help me? I don't have any more money to spend on equipment that is going to not function more than one year. Especially when I'm living on retirement money and fighting cancer.
