Hi.

You can change you password by accessing your belkin admin page. But then you cant ccessit using your wireless connection , therefor you must connect in directly to your computer using an ethernet cable or usb. Im sure you know the nature of Wireless Encryptiom, that if you dont know your KEY then theres no way for you to access it .: Work around if you cant hard wire is to reset you belkin by pressing the reset button at the back. By default there is no encryption for belkin or you can check there website for manuals or steps to work on it.

Let us say you are now hard wired. Go to start > run > cmd > type in ipconfig /all and check your default gateway ip address.. Open your browser and type you default gateway in there ie 192.168.2.1. In your belkin page

In there youl have the option to change and view your wireless encryption.

Hope that the steps above helped you in any way.

Pls let us know if you have further questions.

cheers.

There is a small button on your router. Press it in and hold it until your lights flash on it. It will take about 45 seconds.

This is a factory reset. Now you can connect to it either by plugging into it or wirelessly. It will be an unsecure access point with the SSID of belkin.

After you connect just open up your favorite browser (I use Firefox) and type in the address http://192.168.0.1

Change your password, choose a wireless SSID that is better than belkin. Set your security ( I prefer WPA/PSK )

Save your settings.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Recently yahoo asked me to change my password. I accidently changed both my password and my yahoo ID. I lost all of my email addresses for friends and family. Can I get them back? I asked this question...

Hello,
sorry you never got a reply for the first question you asked.
Now, to your question: the answer is NO. You cannot get the lost e-mail addresses back. They are gone and can never be retrieved. So sorry about that.......
Please let me know if you have anymore questions regarding this problem.

Reset password

What password are you referring to; Wireless Security or Web password to access the Router's interface?

If it's the 2nd; Open http://192.168.0.1 (default IP) on your web browser, type username: admin and Password: password. Click on Password then change the default password.

If it's the 1st; Open http://192.168.0.1 (default IP) on your web browser, type username: admin and Password: password (put you correct password if you change the default password).. Click Wireless on the left, Enable Encryption WEP or WPA; for WEP 64 bit you will have to use 10 HEX, meaning 0-9, A-F (e.g. common is phone number). If WPA; password can be set from 8-64 characters long.

How do you change the password on the router?

Which one? The login password to the router (admin/password) is changed under MAINTENANCE Set Password.

The Wireless password is changed under SETUP Wireless Settings.
In that one, if you're using WEP, you get to see the 10 or 26 HEX character key. Be sure to read the Wireless help screen on the right side of the page.
