reset is not necessary. on front panel you will find a button marked something along the lines of child lock or lock out or panel lock... press and hold that button for 3 - 5 seconds and that should release controls to you.

Select and hold END OF CYCLE SIGNAL for 3 seconds.

To unlock the controls
Select and hold END OF CYCLE SIGNAL for 3 seconds until the CONTROL LOCKED Status light turns off.
First remove the plug for 5 minutes and this will reset the system.
Check to see if the light beside the LOCK ICON is lit on the status
lights. If it is, then the controls are locked. Press and hold the
OPTIONS and SELECT buttons simultaneously until the lock light goes
out. This should free up your controls so that the washer will operate
