The lowest section of one of the 'legs' of my Linhof tripod suddenly fell out. I retrieved the clip, rectangular black plastic piece and a flat 'silver' piece and that is all. Cannot replace the section properly- it doesn't click in place. Was sent a diagram which seems to indicate several of these metal pieces, stacked. I cannot get info as to whether this/these parts are available. Previously a 'foot' broke off and I was sent a new section- I believe this is the same section~! Thanks, Ann McGowan [email protected]

Linhof photographic equipment is sturdy and robust, designed for use by busy professionals. I cannot understand how you can break this item not once but twice. Take it to your local repair facility and get them to repair it for you.

SOURCE: One Leg has loss it's grip.

take it apart, there is a rubber ring like a belt or rubber band, either broken or missing. you will have to find a relacement for that, may have to take apart another leg to have one to compare, course I don't honestly know where you will find that piece. too take it apart just keep spinning the lock counterclockwise until it comes off. good luck.

SOURCE: VGB3 leg lock broke

On the velbon vgb 3, the leg locks consist of a lever, one or two pieces of metal and a plastic piece. The metal and plastic pieces rest in a depression against the lever. When the lever is pulled out, pressure against the smaller leg section is released. When the lever is pushed in, pressure against the smaller leg section is exerted, locking the legs in place. On the back side of each joint, there is a phillips head screw which acts as a stop to keep the leg section from coming all the way out. When the screw is backed out, the leg section can be removed, exposing the latching mechanism. If the only problem is that the latch mechanism came apart, it can simply be reassembled. If, however, something broke and allowed the latch assemby to come apart, that will have to be dealt with as well. My guess is that the phillips screw may have become loose, and the latch came apart.

SOURCE: Broken leg clip on Manfrotto Modo 785B

Yes you can. But I saw that your Manfrotto is possible to buy for 50 Euro.
Anyway the part you need is the full leg called CODE:
R785,203B
you can see the datasheet on the spare part site of Manfrotto:

3rd shaft lost inside 2nd shaft

Yup.Close all leggs up,tape the other 2 so they don't come out, then shake the tripod like your shaking a thermometer to get the mercury down. That lost leg should slide out easily.Once out, place a small hose clamp on each of the final legs just above the rubber tip and this will NEVER happen again.

Leg stuck on Manfrotto 732CY tripod

Other than the leg locks themselves, sometimes Manfrotto expands the last portion of the leg tube that slides into the leg tube above it. If you need some spare parts you can find them here.

bogen and manfrotto are the same company

Need the plastic foot on the tripod leg.

Try going to the Meade website home page, find your Tripod parts section and see if you can order a rplacement foot for it. It should be fairly cheap.
or try this link:

Cannot unscrew leg for unipod off with plastic piece included.

I carefully used a needle nose lock pliers on the plastic part with channel locks on tripod leg and was able to loosen the part.

Magnet

if it's a small rectangular magnet that appears, in our case, fell out, when you add detergent, softener, etc...the magnet goes on the right hand bottom corner of the drawer face, straight up and down, not sideways. this is evidently some type of sensor allowing the washer to start. we had an error code of "ddo" when the magnet fell out.
