Question about Motorola Mobility E815

E815 Motorola dropped in water

I have an E815 Motorola that I dropped in water this evening. I have dried off the phone and it is sitting overnight. My question is that I had some pics on the internal memory that I would really like to retrieve. Some of my recently deceased Mom and some of my toddler that were no where else but on the memory of the phone.
What do I need to do? Please help.

You will need to revive yuor phone by taking out all moisture trapped in. First of all do not turn on the phone, next, in order to take out all moisture trapped in the phone: Dry the phone, battery, any accessory, etc. with cloth and wrap each piece, phone and accessories, in newspaper. Place a few handfuls of rice into a plastic bag and then place the wrapped phone in the bag with rice. The newspaper wrapping avoids direct contact of rice with your phone because the dust from the rice can get into the small areas of the phone. The newspaper and rice will absorb moisture. Leave it there (with the bag open) at least 24 hrs.

My phone is damp on the inside

Remove the battery and leave the phone under a vent overnight, or try using a hairdryer. Either should remove the excess moisture.

I droped my nokia 6300 in water

I have a phone that got wet, not totally submerged though and was able to get it working again. I took the phone apart and using alcohol cleaned anything that looked like it could be corroded. Keep in mind that the circuit board is extremely delicate and unless you are accustomed to working with electronics I would stay away from touching the board. The most important thing is to take it apart to allow the nooks and crannies to dry out. I have had friends do that and only that and got them working again. Get the phone apart and blow dry, let sit, blow dry, let sit etc... If you have a dehumidifier you can set the phone near it to help it dry. Do this for several days to a week and then, only then give it another try. If you didn't fry anything already this might work.

Phone turned on after drying out now won't- help

Did you try turning the phone on while it is plugged into the charger? Try removing the battery before plugging it in as well.

Dropped in Toilet

See if it will turn on when you remove battery and plug it into your charger. If it will you could recover the numbers with the Motorola software or the Carrier could.
