Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

1 Answer

Game driver doesn't start up

I don't think that my xobox 360 is reading any games. If I play with the open close button it usually comes on, but that takes anywhere from 10 - 40 minutes. Any suggestions?

I've tryed putting xbox360 games in a xbox360 but it sais open tray

The XBox 360 is a wonderful video game console, however, with heavy usage, the laser (and/or other components in the drive) will eventually burn out. The first signs of the laser starting to burn out is that your game will start freezing during game play. Eventually the games will stop reading altogether and you will get an "OPEN TRAY" message when you put a disc in and close the tray. What this means is that the XBox 360 thinks that there is no disc in the system.

You can find more information about this issue, find parts to repair it, or send your system to repair all at the following website:

My xbox 360 elite keeps on saying open tray even though i have a game in i would open it than it would read for about 2 seconds than say open tray again and i dont want to take it apart to void my warranty

The warranty on the XBox 360 is ONE YEAR. If you have had it for more than a year, there is no more warranty to be void. You can open it.
