Question about Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop
I contacted Acer by email for figure out this, and got a reply within 24 hours.
Try the steps below for a power reset, to eliminate a hardware problem with your notebook:
1. Disconnect the AC adapter from the laptop.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds then release it. (You will not see anything happen)
4. Connect the AC Adapter to the laptop. Make sure the AC Adapter is plugged in.
5. Turn the computer on as normal.
6. Once Windows boots, insert the battery.
If the notebook still does not power on, we recommend the notebook be serviced by our authorized repair depot. You can set this up for service yourself by going to www.acerpanam.com; click on the link for Depot Repair. If you are out of warranty, or you would rather do this via phone, please contact Acer Technical Support at 1-800-816-2237, Mon-Fri 7am-9pm CST and Sat-Sun 8am-5pm CST excluding holidays. For out of warranty products please call 1-866-621-2237. Hours of operation are 7am-8pm CST, Mon-Fri, and Sat-Sun 8am-5pm CST excluding holidays.
