I have a wiring harness for a pioneer DEH-235, but I'm not sure which wires go where?

Refer to the connection diagram if you don't have it download it from the internet. Almost all brands are the same color coded you can refer to other units for reference & have a starting point. Which is live wire, ground, ignition & remote for connecting extra amp. You might have other types of connections for CD changers & other equipments like an equalizer & other accessories. Hope this is helpful.

I need wiring diagram for pioneer deh p56

Pioneer follows the universal after-market color code, so if your CD player was made in the last ten years or so, the wires should go like this: Yellow: Constant +12VDC (memory) Red: key-switched +12VDC (accessory) Black: Ground Blue/white: amp remote or power antenna output Speaker wires: The solid-color wire of each pair is positive; the black-striped wire is negative. Left front: white Right front: gray Left rear: green Right rear: violet

No AM!

Hi,

A possibility is that the antenna cable/plug is shorted. You can try verifying this with a continuity tester or simply unplug the antenna and stick a piece of insulated wire with the tip/end stripped into the antenna. Try the AM with the wire as the antenna. Just be carefully not go that far as the wire may reach the PCB/electronics.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Pioneer DEH-225 Car Audio

The system remote control is usually a blue wire on your decks harness and it is for an amplifier for a sub or other speakers. It sends power to the subs amp when the deck is turned on. You may need to find the wires coming off the antenna and splice them into the red power switching wire 12v on you decks wire harness. Good luck
