Nano 3 rd generation is not compatible with the JBL on stage dock , you need to buy compatible dock to listen to music or if brought this you can get it exchanged to another dock which is compatible with the nano 3 rd gen..........

good luck...................

Try using the batteries on your dock and power it on and even check its on which connect to power adapter this could even fault in the power adapter .............if did not work you need to contact if under warranty or if out of warranty you can give it to a local service center and it fixed..............

    good luck..........

It will actually work, however, you will not be able to dock the iPod® Nano into the JBL On Stage™. You can connect the audio in cable to the headphone jack of your iPod. That's the only way, hope this helps. Pls rate solution. Thanks!!

My Harman Kardon go play II will stop working just after just a few months.

If you bought this you this new, take it right back to the place of purchase, you still must have warranty and I would use it asp other wise you will be stuck with a unit that will get worse. This is clearly a manufacture defect.

I just bought the ipod nano 6th generation and it will not charge in the Bose docking system....my old one charges with no problem.....is there a fix for this? The nano plays fine it just wont charge

If it is a different model iPod then it is likely the Bose dock does not support the newer model. Quite often changes such as from iPhone 3 to iPhone 4, Bose had to release a new dock. The speakers and music will still always work, but the support will be limited for charging. Unfortunately you will not be able to fix this, other than upgrade the dock, or go back to your old ipod.

JBL on stage micro will not charge my ipod any more. It plays songs fine from the ipod but for some reason is not charging it. Any suggestions?

The JBL Onstage Micro is supposed to disable recharging of the iPod when running off AAA batteries to avoid draining them, but sometimes this setting gets stuck even when the unit is plugged in through the AC adaptor. The workaround that I found is pulling out and reconnecting the iPod to the Onstage Micro (while both are powered on) and then unplugging and reconnecting the AC adaptor. Sometimes you have to repeat this process, but the iPod should start recharging after that. I tried it on the new 5th generation nano and this seems to work.

Nano 8gb does not charge battery(3th generation)

the ipod of the 4th generation does only charge in USB mode and the Harman & kardon speaker only supports I link charge mode(fire wire 1394) so i bought an awsome sounding machine wich does not charge my ipod nano.
however i must say that i have a solution, when you put the USB cable in the back of the H&K, you can charge the nano with a charging device of an ipod.

When plugged in, the ipod batteries go low immediately.

Problem with Ipod Nano 3d generation and Bose Soundock

Try other iPods - if they work with no problems it is a problem with the iPod software, connect this to iTunes to get it updated, and also try a soft reset (hold down menu+center buttons for about ten seconds) if you still get issues, contact Bose.
