Question about Macally BLUEWAVE Wireless Headset

Open Question

BlueWave Bluetooth sending unit to wireless headset model FCC ID:MQ4- BSH202

When my headphones were working perfectly, the LED color was blue. It stopped working and the LED color is now pink. I can't see a problem with the headphones because when I put the switch on, the green light is on. Should I send it back to Kelly Co. in Florida or to you? I'm in Canada and likely it would be very expensive to send back. Do you have any suggestions that I could do at home about the problem? It should still be under warranty because it's less than a year since I bought it. I use only Duracell 1000mAh rechargeable batteries. I've also tried with alkaline batteries and it's still the same problem - a pink light and no sound.

I have the exact same problem that the previous person described. My headphones worked perfectly and then the sound started cutting out and now my LED light turns either pink or red when I turn it on. The color changes. I've been trying to switch batteries to see if it will work, but it only changes the color of the light from red to pink or pink to red.

Please take out the batteries from the dongle and headset for 20 minutes.

Insert a new battery into the dongle, plug into your player and turn it on.

Wait for 2 minutes, insert another new battery into the headset and turn it on.

It will take about 2 minutes to connect each other at first time.

Make sure the headphones are in the searchable mode or try searching from the headphones instead of the PC.

How to install the headset to my EVO 4g

To pair the Plantronics BackBeat 903 with an EVO 4G:

On the 903 headset:
With the headset powered off, press and hold the "Power/Pairing" button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red. This will put the 903 headset into pairing mode.

Use the iPod Touch menu to search for the headset and select 9xxBackBeat.

(If prompted, enter 0000 for the PIN code/passkey. Some devices also require you to accept the connection. Headset is paired when LED flashes blue.)

On the EVO 4G:

Turn the Bluetooth on from the Home screen, tap Menu, Settings, Wireless & Networks, Bluetooth.

Pair the EVO 4G by going to the Home screen, press Menu, Settings, Wireless & Networks, Bluetooth Settings, Scan for Devices. Follow the on screen prompts to pair the devices.

Good luck from Headsets Direct - 800-914-7996.

Hi, I buy a new Plantronics Backbeat 903, but right now it's unrecognizable by any movile, can you give some hints on how to fix that problem. I try with an LG P500 and Nokia 6110, no answer...

Delete the device from the phone, then re-pair the headphones with the phone. If you just turn on the headphones, the device cannot connect because the headphones store the information that you already deleted it on the phone. To pair again with the other device (like a computer, phone, etc) you need to turn off the headphones, then turn on the headphones but press the power/pair button and hold until the led flashes red and blue (like 10 sec after the led turn only blue) to put it in discovery mode. Then turn on your phone and follow the instructions for finding (discovering) your bluetooth headset.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!
