this is caused by a software conflict do you sync you device? if so it can be something your syncing over to the phone from your computer you want to sync over just your contacts then tasks, and media items. if you do not sync you device then i would suggest backing it up and doing a hard reset on it because the powercyling is due to a software failure
I have synced Gooldle calender withoutlink calender and then ActivSync 'ed to my Palm Pro, the phone calender does transfer the meetings, but all the metings are 1 hr delayed. For instance, a meeting in google / outlook calender at 9am transfers to 10am on Palm - any advise?
the problems your experiencing are problems that every cell phone has...be patient and make sure your battery is charged well. after 18 months, I would just replace the battery. after time the batteries just lose full strength power. your phone is like a mini computer and takes a good battery to run. Replace the battery with a new OEM battery, charge it real good and see if your problems go away.
Try uninstalling the Microsoft Activesync. The Palm website offers the newly, innovated Activesync software available for your device. I would recommend reinstalling Microsoft Activesync from this support site.
