I have a regular AA Mag light that had industrial strength batteries which corroded.I did get them out but the bulb holder on the light broke.(The main bulb holder where the twist on switch is.)

Mix up some water and baking soda.paste Take the soda paste and applied inside the tube around the corrosion areas. Rense with water and paste serveral times until the inisde of the tube is cleaan. Remove all components from mag lite be starting this operation. Wipe out with clean cloth and skake until al lwater is removed. GB ....stewbison

Got a a six cell Mag Lite D and the batteries have corroded and jammed inside.Got 1 out, 5 stuck fast. How do I get the damn things out!

The bad news is, the torch will likely not work even if you could remove them which is unlikely. The acid will have rotted the business end of the torch terminals. Time to throw it in the bin my friend.

Couldn't find out how to take bulb part out so I could get corroded batteries out

The back of a Mag-lite screws off to replace the batteries. Look for textured lines like on a coin.

We have a maglite that holds 5 or 6 D batteries and some liquid in rubber has now caused the on/off switch to no longer work. Is there something that can be done?

You could leave the torch in the cupboard near the hot water tank for a few days and the switch might dry out .The contacts have probably corroded at this stage though

MAG-Lite flashlite with Battery removal problem

Pull the cap off the end and wack it in your hand or a piece of wood, don't swing it like a baseball bat. Sometimes they get stuck in mine also, Not sure why, but a good wack gets the job done. Don't worry, the flashlight can take it.
