Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
I can get on my computer, HP Pavilion dv6000, to work for awhile but it keeps shutting down at any given time. I can be surfing the web, playing a game, or just letting it sit there. once it turns itself off i have to wait around 1 minute to turn it back on. The battery is fully charged and i keep my computer plugged in. The internal fan seems to always be working, as soon as my computer turns on the fan is going full force. Could this mean my computer is overheated? The reason I say this is because i play Lord of the Rings Rise of the Witch King which is probably a little more than my graphics card was made for. But I really dont know what is wrong. Does anybody have any suggestions or insight to offer?
Yes.... that is exactly what is hapening...
Try Cleaning out the laptop for starters...
(i recommend getting someone who is experienced)
The Fans Need to be cleaned.. the Heat Sink(s) need to have their Fins cleaned out... and I would Replace the Thermal Paste on your Processor Chip with High Temp Silver Thermal Paste instead of the typical **** they throw on it..
then another good idea is to look for a 3rd party Fan Controller for your laptop if you are a gamer, it allows you to run your fans when you choose and keep them on if you choose, which would help with cooling your laptop while gaming...
