The lights will not go out on our kenmore elite 22.4 cu. ft. ref.

Try pressing ultra ice and home while the refrigerator door is opened,or ultra ice and the refrigerator pad with the freezer opened. Hold for five seconds. Hope that works.

If the control will not change and the lock is lit, first try unlocking it. Press and hold the lock tab for 3 seconds. If nothing happens, try unplugging the power cord for 30 seconds and reconnect it. This will reset the board.

Sounds like bad settings. Sometimes, the temp setting(sensed in ref area) controls runtime, and the frz setting adjusts a vent whuch passes air from frz to ref area. try raising frz setting.

Hi, faulty or broken door (light) switch, whenever you shut ref. door light switches off, locate door switch and press/release (check) , if your light switch are o/k, always make sure ref. door are closed all the way, just a little space in door,(during night time) could keep light on. that could cause your fixture cover to melt. good luck.

there are many reasons why a ref stops working, you have not given any symptoms of what happened before it stopped working. The best solution is to call Sears and purchase a "service smart agreement" which will cover repairs up to $500 per repair for a year. there are other details to the agreement. the cost is about $240, but it's the best thing going.

one thing to try first is make sure there is enough air flow in the freezer and that the airway between the freezer and refrigerator's is free and clear

Have you checked if water is comming out the tubing before hookup? A valve may be close...
