Question about Samsung SGH-X520 Cellular Phone
I purchased a brand new phone off of E-bay and it will not work. I live in the US. My SIM card works in it but just won't let me call in or out. I called my AT&T provider and they said that that phone was not registered under Samsung. I called Samsung and they said that the phone was not registered under them either and they could do nothing for me. Then I look on-line and find that it is common in Asia only. What can I do??? Is there a way to get it to work in America as I can not return the phone and I realy like everything about it except it is usless to me as it is now. I have tried a couple of codes and nothing has worked yet. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
This is fact that the mfgs. are creating separate software files for separate reason. This is necessary to upgrade software in ur handset according to ur zone.
The Company Service Centres can do it or u can contact a mechanic who is upgrading software.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
