Microsoft provides a hotfix to update versions of Internet Explorer 6 affected by this problem.

Visit the Microsoft Hotfix Request page for this error (see Below).

Hello,

Since that when uninstalling AVG you got a problem, then you have to uninstall it manually. first you have to boot your computer in safemode..(just press F8 at first boot you will be directed to boot menu) and then find or browse the program files in drive c: in there select the folder AVG or what folder your AVg is then delete it. after deleting that folder you have to restart your system in normal mode.

After rebooting click start and then select run: in run type "regedit" and then click ok You will be directed to this windows below.

search..a2f1153.gif

click edit menu and select find: type "AVG" and everytime the search display about AVG then delete it..do the search until nomore AVG result as you click the search button.

that is the way unistalling manually.

after that you can restart again the system and then installa another antivirus.

if this not resolve the issue then probably you have severe error in the system..you need to back up your files and then format and reinstall the windows operating system.

may this help you.
