Head phone not working on 2008 Chrysler Aspen DVD player

Head phones for DVD player in a 2007 or 2008 Chrysler Aspen will not come on. I have replaced batteries in both the headphones and remote. When i turn off the dvd the sound still plays through the radio.

It is a rental car and I was given additional head sets and no manual and told to just keep playing with the dvd. Could there be something turned off programing of the radio or dvd it self?

SOURCE: No sound

You need to buy a FM Modulator so you can transfer sound to your FM Radio system.

you need something called a "Line Output Converter". It will reduce the speaker level signal and is usually adjustable. Most car audio shops have them for about $20.

Should wire HU's Power Const to Amp's Remote On. Instead you wired HU's Power Antenna to Amp's Remote On. So the stock amp got triggered only in radio mode.

SOURCE: car DVD player will only play sound through wireless headphones, not through speakers

There is an item you can purchase from your local Radio Shack dealer that allows you to plug from the dvd player into the cigarette lighter. That is what we use. Works great!

SOURCE: I want to have the dvd player work while driving the car.

Kenwood simply requires grounding the parking brake wire.
Take the "safety" wire and ground it to your Head Unit Ground.

Bluetooth will not connect

Try using the manual for connection setup instructions on how to search and connect to a phone.

If that doesn't work, try it the other way round. Use your phone to search for the head unit and connect to it via the phone.

Once you have established a connection, make sure you authorise the head unit as a trusted device (or something along those lines) to ensure it can connect automatically in the future

I purchased a 2003 Yukon w/ this identical problem, I found one of the wire harnesses on the back of the main radio head to be loose (back right as you pull the radio unit out. I made sure it was plugged in tight and everything worked.
