There is a 3rd party app that will allow your tx to read SDHC cards. go tot he website palmpowerups.com and you can purchase a app called Power SDHC. I am currently using the trial version and it works just fine

4gb is HCSD and will not work on a TX. 2 GB is the most it will read

HCSD card can only run in HCSD approved devices.

You could delete the software and reload it from the CD and see if that works.

I"m using a non-HCSD 4GB card and it's fine

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Can't get to info on my disc.

with the 2 gb the problem its that the palm tungsten e2 can't read more than 1gb on a SD, if it does not read even 1gb then the problem may be the contacts can be dirty or broken, other solution may be that you buy the SDHC driver form palm powerups that let you put SDHC memory up to 32gb on your palm, but you need to check first if the contacts of your palm SD slot are not broken!

My Palm TX started powering on over and over> I cannot trun it off.

Hi,
I own a TX also and have not had this problem. The only Normal 0 thing I can think of to do is for you to go to the free palm chat service they offer. I have used this and it worked good for me. Here is a link to the free chat service. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a Palm Chat. From there click on the link that says Chat Now and follow the online prompts. Best wishes...I hope this will help you.
Now for the link.....

My palm e2 screen brings a frozen screen even after reset and no button whatsoever works, it can reset but freezes on the screen again, that is 0 alerts. even the power button does not work, only reset,...

You can try doing a hard reset. A hard reset will delete everything on your device. All your data will be deleted, and formats, preferences and other settings are restored to their factory default settings. Don't perform a hard reset unless you've backed up your data, or you're willing to lose everything. Here is the link for directions for the Hard Reset:

If it's over 4 gigs, don't even try. SDHC is not supported on the TX or anything earlier. There is a website, www.palmpowerups.com, that might have what you need. It's full of stuff like that.

I am having problems with my Palm TX touchscreen, I touch one letter and another one moves

HI,
I am sending you a link to a Palm support page. There is a feature that allows you to do a live chat with a Palm technician. You have to try the options and then I believe the chat feature will show up. Let me know if you need further assistance. Best wishes.

By typing hot Sync my palm makes a restart

Try this, uninstall your current version of Palm Desktop, then go to this link on the Palm support website http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/na/tungsten/tx/unlocked/home/page_en.html this will give you the link to the download for the TX version of Palm Desktop, this may or may not fix your particular problem but it is worth a try.

Palm tungsten E2

As the previous responder said, the Tungsten E2 cannot read cards over 1 GB. However, there is a wonderful solution available at PalmPowerups.com called PowerSDHC. This wonderful little driver will enable the E2 to read cards of any size! At $20.95, it's a bargain. I installed it on my E2 and now I use an 8 GB SDHC chip!

Palm Tungsten t5 WiFi

I suspect that you're in fact holding a Palm TX and not a T5 as the T5 does not have WiFi. If you're using the Palm SD WiFi adaptor, do a hard reset without the card.

(hold down the ON/OFF button whilst using the reset pin to press the reset button. You'll be asked if you are sure you wish to reset. You'll then be prompted to choose the language caliberate the screen etc..)

After that. Go and download all the updates and drivers from Palm Web site.
