Thanks, but I am already set for flip open. I don't have a "Multi key" off option. At least I can't find one anywhere in my menus. Could that be my problem?

Hello,

Go to this menu in your phone, Settings and Tools, Call Settings, In Call Setup, Answer Options,

Now, turn Multi Key to Off and then select Open To Answer and set it to On.

Press CLR to back your way out and you should be good to go. Just remember one of these keys on the side is Speaker Phone On/Off and many men hit this by mistake very often.

If you have any question on this please use the comment box below to request clarification.

I would strongly suggest you call your service provider or go into their phone store to have your phone examined. You just may need a software reload to fix your problem and this cannot be done completely by you or by my guiding you.

Thanks for using FixYa and sorry we can't fix everyone's problems. It does happen.

Hello Glen, I have simillar problem! Whenever my phone is in my pocket, and ringing I either reject a call or answer it without even noticing it. Is there any way of turning the touch screen off while ringing (receiving a call)? I tryed to find options you mentioned, but i don't have them. Only phone settings>Call Settings>Advance Settings>Answer Mode>[Any key|Auto answer when headset mode](I disabled both). You wrote that it is best to visit service provider, and i did it, but thay don't have any software for this phone. Can I do something manually by myself? Thank's in advance! Ilija

Stopped ringing and now just vibrating on incoming calls no sound on music either

Reset your phone to the default factory settings. If not remove the battery and reset. If this wont solve check the settings on the tones, if there is settings for ringing. If this wont work the ringer can be faulty. Might need to remove to check if this is a loose connection or a failure.

HTC Touch Diamond will vibrate, but won't ring on incoming calls

I just had this problem - and I have been messing with it for an hour.... but I finally fixed it - Try this - touch the speaker symbol on top (The system status window should pop-up) then touch the speaker symbol again (Now you should have two tabs - one for system and one for ring) Touch ring and slide it up. This worked for me.

Phone doesn't ring, but other sounds fine

:) Sometimes happens to me also. I faced a similar problem before, I think one of the installed programs on your device does it, I couldn't remember the name of the application now but whenever I launch it, my phone sound goes to minimum, Just to let you know. Have a nice day.

This can be handled by the DND feature in your admin settings... Do not disturb will transfer your calls direct to voicemail without ringing the handset.
