intermittant over fill. seems on occasions the fill level solenoid does not stop, and fills the under tray. Does this sound like a faulty pressure switch?This is very erratic, monthly or daily, anytime.

- Thank you for your prompt response to my intermittant over fill problem. To answer your questions, no recall has been done on this machine.Last wash I had no issues at all, where the one prior, the unit pumped out on cycle 4 and filled to overflow at the start of cycle 5. I will check drain pump next as as you suggest, as this may not work consistantly.Clarification Request

have you had the recall done on this unit? go to www.askousa.com to register and they will replace the control board or timer. It is supposedly a fire hazard and they say to stop using it. As far as the overfill goes, do you see it keep filling then overfill, or could this be something thats blocking the drain, then causing the next fill cycle to overfill the unit cause it cant drain the previous cycles water. this can also happen with a bad drain pump. I have never seen a pressure switch fail on one of these askos, so would suspect the valve itself had sediment built up in it, or maybe a bad timer/control board

- my Kenmore dishwasher appears to be working, but it flooded the kitchen floor.some random repairman (i was at his mercy!!!) informed me that the "motor is gone"..........i THINK he is taking advantage of a woman! he got his $35 and i escorted him out, he said he would replace the motor for $250 plus!!!
of course, i can purchase a new one for that or less (haven't priced them lately).
no more servicemen!!!!!!!!...........but is there ANYTHING i can look at or look for. (someone like me without a clue).- zippitydooda
