How to Format Nokia N72, N73, N81, N95, NSeries Mobile Phones.
Method 1: Three Finger Reset for Nokia Phone1. Switch off your Nokia phone. 2. Hold down the following three keys, Green (call answer button) * Key, and Number ‘3? key. 3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone. 4. Wait for message ‘Formatting’ to appear on the screen and release all keys once you see that message.
Method 2: Hard Format of Nokia Mobile Phone1. Switch off your Nokia phone 2. Now Press following key sequence *#7370# 3. Enter Default lock code is 12345. 4. You will need to format your phone and restore it to factory settings. Backup your data before you start the format. To format:
Press *#7780# on your phone, it shall ask you weather you want to
restore the phone to factory defaults? Select Yes, enter the security
code (default is 12345) the phone shall restart. Now once it comes
back, press *#7370# and follow the same process again. After it comes
back, everything should be working fine.
In case you do not remember the security code, then turn off the phone,
press the star key (*), number 3 key and Green keys (the one used to
make the calls) together and keeping them pressed turn on the phone, do
not release the keys until you see the formatting screen, let it
complete and the phone shall restart and then it should be working fine.
Your display circuit is broken, even if the LCD-panel,
seems to be ok the display is damaged.
This is a very common problem in Nokia phones.
The only way to fix this is to change the display.
