SOURCE: Canon PIXMA MP620 getting error code B200

Hi, This error is related to the Print head of your printer. I recommend getting in contact with Canon to activate the warranty (if it's still under warranty) or getting it replaced. They usually are not expensive and may very well be cheaper than a new printer. Do you have their number?
Hope i was of any help. If so, please rate me. Thank you.

1. Connect the USB cable directly to a USB port on the computer 2. Connect the USB interface cable 3. Delete the printer (MacOS X), and then add it back again 4. Reset the printer 5. Try a different data cable 6. Verify proper driver installation in Mac OS X
I hope it helps!!!

Error B200

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

According to Canon's documentation, Error B200 is simply listed as a printer error (not very descriptive). It is likely a hardware fault on a board, a physical hardware malfunction.

To solve it:
Turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply. Again connect it and turn on.

If you find my solution helpful for you the your Rating as FIVE STARS will be esteemed.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WHEN APPEARS ERROR B200?

The error B200 refers to an overheat error of the printhead. however the head usually damages the logic board and both require replacing as a pair. Sorry but probably not an economical repair and a replacement machine is better.

B200 IS BAD PRINTHEAD. i TRIED TO CLEAN CLOGS BUT IN THE END THE FIX WILL BE TO (REPLACE PRINTHEAD) IF UNCLOGGING PRINTHEAD OF DRY INK DOES NOT WORK. YOU CAN UNCLOG BY USING A PRINTHEAD CLEAMING KIT, BUT IF THIS DOES NOT WORK REPLACE HEAD. EBAY WAS CHEAP FOR ME 25 BUCKS PRINTER IS WORKING AGAIN.
