I am looking to find the instruction manual for this tractor. It is John Deere Model 520 that is approximately 35 years old. In addition, the steering is very sloppy. Is there something that fits around the steering column as it comes out of the tractor's body? I appreciate your help. Sincerely, Chris

If it was working before, there is no need to worry about the firing order as that never changes. Things to look at;
Clean and correctly gapped spark plugs,
Clean gas,
Fuel filter?
and a clean carburetor, float bowl and jets.

I have googled LT155 and came upon john deere LT155 lawn tractor(noncurrent). It took me to John Deere's site. I put in your model number and it had several catagories. I would try the alphabetical list, go to B and look for traction belt.

you can go to www.deere.com and then click on residential equipment on the next page click on services and support and then enter your model number you will need your machines serial number to choose which model you have. here you view on online or order a new copy on cd
