Question about Cameras

1 Answer

HELLO, I have a 512mb sanDisk card.. I use the card in a Sanyo VPC-S600 digital camera. I've had no trouble putting the pix on my pc.. Until lately, all of a sudden, The pix will not download. I can still veiw the pix on the camera but can't put them on the pc.. I thought it was the camera.. So I bought a multi slot, digital concepts 21 in 1 reader.. all other cards will work with this device except the 512 that all my recent pix are on.. I took it to the local Wal Mart & tried it on one of the pix machines & the card wasn't detected.. I tried all the options & different machines, with no luck.. Again, I can veiw the pix on the camera when the card is installed... Please help if at all possible.. Do you know any techniques that may help... I really would like the pix... My daughters graduation & vacation pix are on the disc & mean a lot to us.. Thank You, Myra Keller rubys_treasures@yahoo.com

Hello Karen,

Please look for lock in memory card as in the above image. If the white latch is in downside position then slide it in up position. Also check that you are inserting the memory card in right position in the camera.

Can the sanyo VPC-v6 take an 8gb sd card?

No, the camera can only support an SD card. An 8 GB card is an SDHC (SD High Capacity) card. However, the specs of the camera given in the manual list a 1 GB card as the highest density card known to work (but only one brand was tested).

The owner's manual for the Sanyo VPC-C6 is available at the Sanyo site. The direct link is http://us.sanyo.com/dynamic/product/Downloads/VPC-C6_OM_English-18468437.pdf .

I hope this helps.

My Sanyo VPC-S880 when turned on, says "Card Error'. What does that mean and how can I rectify that problem? The card is in correctly and because of this "card error" I cannot check the pix that are...

First, ensure that the card has not been locked. There is a small sliding switch on the side of the card that you may have accidentally shifted into the locked position. If so unlock the card and try it in the camera again.
Your next option is to fit the card into a card reader (on you laptop or PC) and see if it is reading any of the data on the card. If it doesn't, and the card is not locked, the card may be defective.

I need instructions on how to load pics to my Optimus 07A08 digital frame.

On the back of the frame remove the memory card, then You need to use a pc with a Memory card reader, you can get usb card readers that simply plug in your usb, then copy all the pictures you want on the card from pc.

I have the VPC-S600. My husband accindently formatted the SD card with photos on it. Can I recover the pictures?? They are extremely important??? The Sd card is a Polaroid 2GB by PNY Please help????

Once the card is formatted, all is gone. A computer has a sector of the hard drive that "format" doesn't touch but portable storage devices don't have that protection.
