Question about Zanussi 24 in. DE6744 Free-Standing Dishwasher
THE DISHWASHER SPRUNG A LEEK IN THE WASTE HOSE AND TRIPPED THE ELECTRIC AS IT IS SUPPOSED TO I REPLACED THE HOSE DRIED OUT THE DISHWASHER NOW WHEN IT STARTS IT PUMPS OUT STARTS TO FILL WITH WATER AND THEN TRIPS THE ELECTRIC, I CAN FIND NO LEAKS, IF I DRAIN THE WATER AND RESET IT IT DOES THE SAME
There is usually a float switch inside the DW body. Usually a polystyrene lump. This may be stuck in the up position, or a pool of water may still exist within the case.
When you say trips the electric - is this your wall MCB or ELCB ? If it is that then there is a major electrical fault on this machine that needs investigation.
