We have a PDW8800 Seies GE Profile Dishwasher. When we first got it the Normal wash/dry cycle time was ~105 minutes. We normally over rinse the dishes and plateware before putting it in the dishwasher but over two years the cycle time has moved up to over 125 minutes. The unit has Sensing that is supposed to control and adjust the cycle time if the water is dirty but we cannot understand why it has increased so much without any noticeable changes in the quality of the water going into the washer or our cleaning of the plates cleaned by the washer.
Try cutting the breaker off for 5 min, This will reset the control. The issue is in order for a dishwasher to clean the dishes properly the water in the dishwasher needs to be at least 120 deg f. If its not the dishwasher keeps adding more time with the heater on to try to achieve this temp. The dishwasher only uses about 1 gallon of water per fill so if the water heater is a ways away or the temp is not hot enough, the water temp in the dishwasher will not reach 120.

10 year old GE Profile built in dish washer runs but the center sprayer is not turning or moving. Is there a belt or a chain that needs to be replaced? Can I get to the motor through the front lower panel with out pulling the whole unit out? Thanks for your time!
