HI there!
If you purchased an item which is not as described, you need to file the item not as describe dispute on ebay and i strongly suggest that you need to file it within 45 days since the day that you purchased it or you will no longer be able to file it.
it could be that the seller filed a damage complaint with usps and that is the reason why usps is going to get it back from you but if you have tracking when you sent it back, just include the tracking number in the case that you will file and you need to contact ebay to inform them about this.. i have here the ebay phone trick and just click the link below to get to my trips and tricks.
ebay phone trick
hope this helps! have a great day!

Item purchased never received

Its common for suppliers to issue you a tracking number for the delivery. This is done, not only for you to track the delivery for for the seller to prove that it was actually delivered.
Go back the website where you made the purchase and copy the tracking number. If they give you a link to YSP, FedEx or USPS, click one thr link and God number will be entered automatically. You can then see the status of tbe purchase.
If you only have a tracking number, you will have to try this number on the three shipping sites until you find which shipper handled the shipment.
Google "USPS TRACKING", or UPS TRACKING" or FEDEX TRACKING".
If the shipper does not offer your a tracking number, thay have no proof they ever send the merchandise and you will need to file a claim with them on their website.
Go about this with the believe that they are honest and simply made a mistake (wrong address, lost the order, etc. These things happen to all sellers and they dont want dissatisfied customers no more than you want to be dissatisfied.)

How much i should pay for an ebay item that i purchased?

Find out how much you need to pay for your item:
  • In the listing
  • In My eBay
  • In the confirmation email sent by eBay
  • In the invoice sent by the seller
After you win an item, use the Pay Now button to pay your seller. Once you win an item, the Pay Now button appears:
  • in the listing
  • in My eBay
  • in your confirmation email
When you click the Pay Now button, your payment details will usually be automatically calculated for you. These details will match the shipping and handling, tax, and multiplepurchase discounts in the listing below the item description.

If the payment details aren’t available, or the totals don’t seem accurate, here's what to do:
  1. Reviewthe item description and any emails you've received from the seller. Ifthe seller specified shipping costs in the item description or sent youshipping costs by email, you can manually enter this information on theReview Your Purchase page after you click the Pay Now button.
  2. If you still don't have the information you need, click the Request total from sellerlink next to the seller's user ID. After you request the total, theseller can send you a new invoice that includes the correct paymentinformation.
  3. When the seller sends your invoice, click the Pay Now button in the invoice to see your updated total.

Recent order received , shipped in USPS packing. Return label is printing UPS return , why?

Company probably has a UPS account so it's easier than sending you postage for the return shipping

I bid-won-paid 87.50 plus s&h (20.something)I received an email from seller saying the shipping was much more and asked me to send the balance to them via paypal. Is the seller not responsible.

check which box you ticked for the preferred method for despatch
if you ticked fedx for $40.00 then that is how the seller has to send it
if they send it express for extra money then that is at their cost
call a lawyer to check and go through them

I want to give feedback to a seller on my paypal account

How to leave feedback the RIGHT way 18af_7.jpg?set_id=81 Published by mutti74 October 26, 2013 . 14K Views . 2 Comments . 79 Votes So you finally gave in and bought something on ebay? WAY TO GO! Welcome to the world of endless deals and bargains!
Are you happy with your purchase?
Answer: YES! I love it!
Awesome, now lets let the seller know. The easiest way to leave feedback is to simply go back to the page of the actual item. Either type in the item number and click search OR go to MY EBAY and look under "All Buying" under "Won" and click on the item.
Once you get to the page, look towards the top, it'll say LEAVE FEEDBACK, simply click on that and Voi'La you are ready to leave feedback.
Since you are happy with your purchase, rate POSITIVE and write you comments in, such as: "Fast shipping, very happy with purchase." or "Great product, excellent communication!"
We are not done yet, Ebay has integrated a STAR system to rate sellers. You can rate 1-5 stars on "Item as described", "Communication", "Shipping Time" and "Shipping & Handling Charges".
Here is a tip about shipping and handling charges. Sometimes you may not be happy with those charges, KEEP ON MIND: Whatever you bought could have been shipped from the opposite side of the country (or even from another country), so OF COURSE they may be higher than having it sent from 1 end of a state to the other hand!! Those actual shipping charges are out of sellers hands.
All set with your rating? Simply leave feedback and DONE! Easy, fast and simple.
Now......a STRONG REMINDER. I often browse through ebay guides and reviews and TOO MANY buyers mistaken this area for contacting the sellers. This REVIEW and GUIDE area has NOTHING TO DO with leaving feedback or communicating with sellers!!!!! Follow the above steps to properly leave feedback.
What if you are not happy? Follow the above steps to get to your items page and click on (right side of page) CONTACT seller and email them. Whether it is a breakage or the item has not arrived yet. Give the seller some time to resolve the issue and to respond back before leaving neutral or negative feedback. I am a seller myself, as well as buyer. I ONLY result in leaving neutral or negative feedback if:
A: I have a non-paying bidder (new ebay rules NO LONGER permit sellers leaving negative feedback to non-paying bidders, so sellers really have no way of warning others anymore)
B: I bought something, it arrived broken or did not arrive at all, and the seller NEVER responded to NUMEROUS emails over a 2 week period, plenty of time to respond and rectify.
C: The seller told me basically something like "oh well, not my problem".
IF the seller responds and rectifies the mishap by either refunding money or sending out a duplicate item, there is NO reason for me to leave a bad feedback since the seller took care of me in a satisfactory manner.
Personally leaving a neutral feedback would be perhaps if the item I bought took a very long time to arrive (remember overseas purchases do take longer to arrive). If I bought something, lets say from a seller in California and I paid for Parcel Post. That takes 2-9 BUSINESS days. If I am sitting here a month later and the item finally arrives, thats a tad extra long in waiting time. If the seller does not communicate any delay in shipping, that calls for a neutral. WHY NOT LEAVE A NEGATIVE, you ask??? You received the item, riiiight? :o) That is why I would leave a neutral and not a negative.
This takes me to another point, bare with me: CHECK THE SELLERS FEEDBACK!!!!
(Simply click on the number next to the sellers name)
Look at their feedback score, the percentage!!!! If a seller has numerous neutral or negative feebacks in the last 30 days...STAY AWAY!!! Read their feedback and why people left bad feedback.
If a seller has less than 100% positive feedback, check why and how long ago they received a negative feedback, it could have been over a new ebayer not knowing how to properly leave feedback even, one of the reason I am writing this here.
Unfortunately only about 4 out of every 10 buyers leave feedback nowadays, so do not be upset if a seller only leaves feedback once they have received feedback from a buyer. It is a common just-practice.
10/2013 Please note: Ebay's push to offer free shipping on all items and charging an extra fee to sellers if they charge shipping has made the ebay market somewhat unstable and less fun for us sellers. I understand that big companies can offer free shipping on many items and sellers offer it a lot on lightweight items. Please do not expect and let it out on the seller via leaving neutral or negative feedback, if a seller charges shipping on dishes that weigh 5# and sell for only $10. Private part time sellers are here to make some money too, so paying for the item and eating all the quadruple ebay/ paypal fees and shipping the item out for free is just simply unreasonable.

Ebay item #150549981120 was not brand advertised and was broken. the seller agreed to refund my money if i returned item but than did not accept delivery. I paid 36.00 and 10.00 initially and...

What you will need to do is scan the copy of the USPS receipt and then upload it into your Paypal dispute and explain that the seller refused the return of the item you bought. This will add merit to your case and you will receive a complete refund because Pyapal will reverse the transaction and credit your account. If you have to send the item again, send it with a signature confirmation so the seller won't be able to deny that he didn't receive your return.

How do i return items bought ebay

Before you return, make sure you and seller agree and understand all the terms of the return. Even if you know the return policy by heart, confirm it with your seller. Make sure you know exactly what your refund or compensation will be. Most sellers do not refund shipping and handling charges, so don't ask for them, unless you believe the item has been grossly misrepresented. Even then, don't press the issue. Most sellers WILL refund your return cost if they've made a mistake. Even if the item IS misrepresented and you file a claim with PayPal, PayPal will require you to return it at YOUR expense before issuing a refund to you, so you have NOTHING TO LOSE by being polite and coorporative.

PACK YOUR RETURN SAFELY, even if your item is non-breakable. Any poorly packed item could be damaged in shipment. How would a seller know that it wasn't YOU who damaged the item and not the shipper? Even if the seller knows it was the shipper's fault, you have now given the seller the perfect opportunity to reneg on issuing a refund. You always have the option of going to eBay or PayPal for a refund, but your goal is to get your money back, and hopefully your return shipping too, so don't be hasty. In the box with the return include: your name, address and EMAIL, the eBay item number, date you purchased it, what method you used as payment, the amount you expect to be refunded to you, and how you have agreed the refund is to be issued. It makes it easier for the seller to trace and issue a refund, especialy if the seller transacts multiples of identical items.

CONTACT THE SELLER to let him/her know when the return was mailed, via what shipper, and about when it should arrive back. If there is a tracking number, provide that to your seller. If you've created a label through USPS and give USPS the seller's email, USPS will send the seller the tracking number automatically. Easier for everybody. DO NOT send back the item WITHOUT a tracking number. You don't want the seller to claim he didn't get the item back and thus refuse your refund. And if you go to PayPal for the refund, you're screwed. No tracking, means no washy.
FOLLOW-UP in the appropriate amount of time to see if the seller has received the return. If the item has been lost or delayed in shipment, it is YOUR responsibility to track it down. A short email will do: e.g. "Just checking to make sure you got those brown Ferragamo pumps, item number (xxxxxxxxxx) back. Let me know, thanks." Even if the tracking number shows the item has been returned, this is still a good idea. Some sellers get many returns a day and you don't want yours to get neglected.

Once you have received your refund, CONTACT THE SELLER to thank him/her and mention you would appreciate a positive feedback if one has not already been left. Even if you know you'll never trade with your seller again, say you look forward to doing more business. Keep stroking your seller until your glowing feedback is left. Once that's done you can go into eBay's community chat and spread the word about the seller's bad business practices, report to Safe Harbor, or anything else you feel appropriate. You goal is to GET YOUR MONEY and GLOWING FEEDBACK FIRST, before you do anything to get even.

I paid for my item through paypal and shipment was rejected at customs

Communicate with your seller through the links paths to "Contact Seller" or "Send Message" on the finished auction page. or from "My Ebay" Use the item number or title in Completed Auctions search (left side) to find it if you haven't saved emails with links. Customs will send it back to him if is not illegal or prohibited merchandise. Contact Paypal Resolutions for reimbursement as a last resort - (Item Not Received report.) Sellers are required to provide proof of shipping (and other compliance) to Paypal.

I have been using paypal for a long time (okvoulenteer) and this is the first time that you told the seller not to ship for 4 days WHY? this is the first time that the seller has been told not to ship for...

Generally if a buyer is out on business and not at the residence they may ask you to delay shipment so they can be there when it arrives. Otherwise the item may spend a few days at their door, or with a notice to have to go and pick it up at the post office, or at the UPS site. It is just easier to ask the shipper to hold off for a few days. This shouldn't be a problem for you because they have paid you in advance and they are the ones giving the instruction so it shouldn't affect your feedback.
