I have a BellSouth digital answering machine, (no phone attached) I have lost my instruction sheet about how to set up a phone message for those that call in, hope you can help. The model is 1188 Thanks Diana Berry

I just imputed my message and now I don't know how to make the answering maching come on after 4 rings. Can you help?

have bellsouth model 1188 answering machine and lost manual, I'm going on vacation and will be calling to get message and want to know how take message off after hearing them?? www.laabsparts@yahoo.com. Thanks for any HELP!

Hi Diana - To record your outgoing message, hold down your ogm button ( outgoing message) for two seconds and it will ask you to record a message. To play back your message, just push the same button and it will play your message. If you don't like it just do it again. If this solves your problem PLEASE rate this as fixed.
