Clean It ?
I don't think that has anything to do with performance
unless you have been mudding, and it's covered in dirt.
Please be more specific, Amp, Speaker (s) and all specs.

You have to understand that the only moving parts in your system are the speakers.
Cep't the CD spinner thingy
Like tires, the more you use them and abuse them, they just plain wear out,
Regards, Paul

When I open the toolbox for the LaserJet 2600n printer, it tells the website is not available. I need to clean the jets etc.

You need not to clean laser printer cartridges,it may color or mono. Print cartridges them selves having cleaning blade to clean the surface of the OPC drum every time when its initializing or printing. If you found any vertical tracks on print outs replace the particular cartridge.. If you have any kind of print quality issue, perform calibrate process through printer menu..quality..calibrating.. even if you found quality issue clean the Laser scanner assm.(professionals only can do)

Will not play CDs or eject them. Just makes noises like it is trying to change.

You have a problem with dirt lens on the PICKUP unit or the PICK P is maybe dead. First you should open the device and clean the lens with a cotton stick, it should be dipped first in the clean water. Put it on the lens annd gently spin it in circles. After that in five minutes or more try again with the playback.

After I enter key code for a Windows XP install the system performs a series of re-boots. what is my problem? Bad HDD?

first you need to do is clean out your computer hardwares, like memory module, separate video card if you have one, motherboard, and other peripheral devices which are connected to your motherboard, take them out one by one and clean it using a paintbrush.

One of the cause why your pc acts abnormally is full of dust, maybe your pc is loaded with dust. when dust gets into your pc and becomes thick, it will turn into a conductor, and your pc will have a partial short somewhere.
So you need to clean your pc hardwares first before you proceed installing windows. After you have done this, perform a new installation. hope this is helpful.

Poor print quality. suspect bad ink cartridge. Replaced and still same problem. Model mfc-4420c

Sounds like a setting maybe wrong or you need to perform a deep cleaning. This happens if you get a bad refill cartridge, the recycled cartridges do this often. Replace the cartridge and perform a deep Cleaning and alignment. This should resolve the problem.

On my celestion ditton 150's there a gritty creaking when i gently press in the cone of the mid range. why is this, and can i resolve it? maybe remove the cone and clean it? thankyou.

Hi Lewsville,
Assuming after more than 6 months you still have the same problem...
The most likely explanation is that the voice coil is burnt out. This will definitely affect sound quality and will probably deteriorate over time. Cleaning won't fix this problem. You'll probably need to get the speakers re-coned by a speaker technician.

My MP530 willnot print black printed text. How do I now if the ink head is plugged and what do I do about it?

Hi ...

I would suggest you try and clean the print head and that should resolve the problem. Follow the below steps to clean the print head:

Perform a Cleaning of the print head:
Caution: Cleaning consumes a certain amount of ink. Perform Cleaning only when necessary.
Note: The pattern varies depending on the printer and version of Windows being used.
  1. Click 'Cleaning' to perform print head cleaning from the Pattern Check window and proceed to step 3 of the print head cleaning instructions. If the Pattern Check window is closed, skip this step and proceed to step 2.

  2. To perform a print head cleaning from the Maintenance window, click 'Cleaning'.

  3. When the Print Head Cleaning window is displayed, select the target ink group for 'Cleaning'.

Note: When performing Cleaning for all colors, check 'All Colors'.

Note: When performing Cleaning for Black only, deselect 'All Colors' and check 'Black'.

  4. After selecting the target ink group click 'Execute' to perform the cleaning of the print head nozzles.

  5. When the confirming message is displayed, check the contents, and click 'OK'.

Caution: Although the Nozzle Check window is displayed, do not perform any other operations until Cleaning is completed.. Cleaning will take about 40 seconds.

  6. Print a Nozzle Check Pattern and examine.

  7. Perform Cleaning again if necessary.

Memo: If the pattern is still abnormal after two Cleanings, perform up to two Deep Cleanings.

Perform Deep Cleaning of the print head
Caution: Deep Cleaning consumes a larger amount of ink than normal Cleaning. Perform Deep Cleanings only when necessary.
  1. In the Maintenance window, click 'Deep Cleaning'.

    mp_500_win_maint_dphc.jpg

Note: The layout varies depending on the printer and version of Windows you are using.

  2. When the Deep Cleaning window is displayed, select the target ink group for Deep Cleaning.

Note: When performing Cleaning for all colors, check 'All Colors'.

Note: When performing Cleaning for Black only, deselect 'All Colors' and check 'Black'.

  3. Click 'Execute'.

    mp_500_dph_cleaning_execute.jpg

Memo: By clicking 'Initial Check Items' before clicking 'Print Check Pattern', you can see the specific confirmation items in Nozzle Check.

  4. When the confirming message is displayed, click 'OK'. (The Power lamp will blink green and Deep Cleaning starts. The blink stops when Deep Cleaning is over.)

  5. When Deep Cleaning starts, check the contents, and click 'OK'.

Caution: To prevent interruption of the Deep Cleaning process, do not perform any other operations until Deep Cleaning is completed. When the operation of the printer is stopped, Deep Cleaning is completed. Deep Cleaning will take about 75 seconds.

  6. Print Nozzle Check again.

Note: If the printed pattern is still not normal, perform steps 1 through 4 of the Deep Cleaning process one additional time.

Caution: If after two Deep Cleanings the Nozzle Check Pattern is still not normal, turn the printer off and let it sit for 24 hours or more before attempting another Deep Cleaning again. The wait time may allow dried ink in clogged print head nozzles to liquefy, and resolve the problem
If this does not resolve the problem, please reply back and we'll try the next step ...

Don't forget to vote if this helps ... Cheers :)
