The power was turned off to my microwave for two days and when I turned it back on, the oven, fan, and turntable wouldn't work. Keypad seems to work fine.

This is usually caused by either a bad door switch, a loose door switch mount, or a problem on the control panel.

Even though a door switch clicks, it may still be bad inside. Its continuity must be checked.

Door switch or mount trouble can be caused by slamming the door or by opening the door while it's cooking without hitting the Stop pad first.

There are plastic mounts inside the microwave which hold the door switches and onto which the door hooks latch when you close the door.

The screws on these mounts may be loose. If they get too loose, the switches will not be activated properly.

Sometimes it's a broken tab on the switch holder, allowing the switch to rotate just out of position. Other times, it's a broken tab on the switch holder, allowing the switch to rotate just out of position. This tab can be hard to see, since it is under the bottom edge of the switch.

My under cabinet microwave is not working correctly.

The possible reasons are: 1) The high voltage transformer is broken, 2) The magnetron is broken.

For the 1st problem, no power can be applied to the turntable.
For the 2nd problem, the magnetron is broken with no microwave can be issued.

Samsung microwave oven Model # SMH9151S. Turntable not turning fan inside (not the exhaust fan) is not working either.

It may be a failed relay on the control board, which I repair affordably.

Microwave turns on but no heat and turntable doesn't turn

It is one of two things, a defective door switch, "most likely" or the keypad control board is faulty.

Microwave heats but fan and turntable wont work

hello,

what this means is that there is a disconnection of power supply from the wire connected to fan and the turntable,

the solution to solve this problem is to unscrew (open)the oven with electrical tools trace the wire to the fan and the turntable to locate the loose wire from it position fix it back with care or if there is any burn wire from those wire then the wire will need to be replace with another better.

please when doing this you will have to put OFF all forms of power supply from the oven.

thank you.

Check this one out! My GE Profile microwave heats up but I don't hear the fan. However, the inside light and the turntable stopped working at the same time. Everything else seems to be working fine. What's...

hello,

this is a maize problem that wiring (wire) this means that your oven fan has been disconnected from it position

what you need to fix up your fan back is that you unscrew your oven trace the maize that supply A/C to the microwave

this maize is connected to different object but what by you are real after is your fan and the heater including the turntable .

trace the wire down to the fan to locate the loss wire from it position and do the fixing your self because it is same maize thaat link up both together i.e fan and turning table

please note before you can do this make sure that any form of power supply is put off.

Good luck and thank for using fixya.

Whirlpool otr microwave

Once i opened up the microwave, I found that some kind of capacitor or something (had two wires going to it) had fell down on top of the fan. I had to rig the plastic mounting bracket and re-attach it to a panel inside. That took care of the rubbing noise. It turned out that some one had unplugged the wire that powered the turntable. That took care of that. it seems to work fine now. Steve

GE turntable microwave Je1540WW 002 Turntable doesn't turn

I have had the turn table motor go defective in microwave ovens.

Normaly, before ordering a new motor, I always checked to make sure that there was power going to the motor assembly. I never had a power drive failure to a motor so-far. When they did not spin, the motor was defective. But, one day there will be a first time for me.

The fix was to purchase a new motor from the manufacture and install it. In some cases, I had to also replace the spindle key because the original broke when trying to remove it when removing the motor assembly.

I suggest that for servicing a microwave oven, you give it out to a service center to have the work done. There are safety issues when working on microwave ovens.
