Maytag electric dryer model MDE6000AYW dryer is running but not getting hot and drying clothes plus making a dining noise every couple seconds while running

Dryer Does Not Run
Your Kenmore Oasis dryer may occasionally not operate as intended. When the dryer does not turn on, check that the power cord is plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check your fuse box to make sure a fuse hasn't blown or the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker as needed. Next, check that you have fully closed the dryer door; if not, the dryer will not run. Finally, make sure that you press and hold the "Start" button for at least five seconds.
Dryer Making Noise
Kenmore Oasis dryers will make noises that occur commonly with the running of the machine, including the motor and the sound of hot air blowing into the machine. Listen for uncommon noises with the running of the dryer, such as metallic clanking and excessive vibration. These noises indicate a problem with the machine.
If you hear metallic clanking, stop the dryer and check for any metal objects in the dryer drum. Often, change or other objects left in the pockets of clothing placed in the dryer will then fall out when the dryer starts spinning, creating the noise.
Excessive vibration often occurs when you have not properly leveled the dryer. To check whether the dryer is level, turn it off and try shake it frontward and backward, then left and right. If the dryer moves, adjust one or more of the legs needs to level the dryer: Determine which leg(s) you need to adjust and use a wrench to lengthen or shorten the legs. A level dryer will more quietly due to the elimination of vibrations.
Drying Time is Too Long
You may find that your laundry takes a long time to dry in the Kenmore Oasis dryer. This often occurs due to restricted the air flow within the machine. First, clear the lint filter. Clean it before every drying cycle to ensure proper air flow through the machine.
Next, run the dryer as usual and check the exhaust vent to ensure that airflows out of the vent. If you cannot feel air flowing through the vent, check it for blockage or damage. Clear any objects blocking the vent, or replace it if it has sustained damage.
The blockage may also occur in the exhaust hose attached to the back of the dryer. Unplug the dryer and remove the hose from the back of the machine. Clean out any lint or other obstruction and reattach the hose to clear the exhaust hose.

Screeching noise when running the dryer.

Most likely source is the idler pulley. Secondly, is the drum support roller closest to the motor. If the screech is a slower frequency it's likely the roller because the support roller travels at slower speed than idler pulley. Both are replaced by raising top and removing front. Caution: Pull plug before starting and draw diagram of how the belt travels around the idler roller. You will need it to get this back on properly.

Whirlpool GEW9200 dryer makes loud whining noise...

It might be metal on metal. It is possible that something worked it's way from inside the drum it between the drum and the rest of the dryer. There's just a couple of srcews that holds the back and top on to the dryer. Take them out after un-plugging the dryer, and consider plugging it back in and running it to see if you can here where the squeek is coming from.

Dryer won't start, no noise

This is most often caused by a bad thermal fuse on the exit chute. Main reason is plugged / restricted venting and dirty or bad thermostat, which is next to the fuse on most dryers. Hope this helps!

Loud noise when dryer runs

Two items on two different dryers can make this noise. One is the belt tensioner pulley and the other is the bearing on a Frigidaire dryer.
