Is the paper jamming up in the copier?

Is this the first time you have tried printing these types of pages before?

1 Answer

The Paper does not Jam. The copier just indicates that it is processing data but never seems to print. Seems to print every now and again if we change the fonts to download fonts. Not sure if there is an easy fix

Is there a reset code for a Sharp AR-507 copier, error H2-00?

enter simulation: pound, interrupt, clear, interrupt, then enter 14, press start, press execute on touch screen, press ca until copier restarts, this is a general clear code, if problem returns you will have a heat problem in the fuser.

Can't install

If you can ping its IP, you have that part correct.
What you may be having is a firewall issue.
If your firewall protection is not allowing an exception for that IP address, you can ping the machine, yet the data being sent will be blocked.
I have seen this several times in setting up printers, you have to go into your firewall and set up an exception for the IP address on your firewall.
I suspect that is the issue. Not uncommon.

There is a known problem with adobe 7 printing on this model. Unistall the PCL6 driver and re-install it using the PCL5e driver instead. This will fix your problem.
