Liteon lvw5006.disk will not eject - Lite On LVW-5006 DVD Recorder

LITEON DD -A510 2006 made new, 16 years old, many now are dead
is the clicker dead or missing or bad batteries in it or put in backwards. both clickers dead? you 2 now. RM-1 clicker.
second button front from left is eject. tell the seller it is no good.

the mechanism of your dvd are stucked up lubricate the moving parts and gears by using a small amoun of lubricating oil.to do it manually eject the loader by turning the gears by your hand..

There is usually an emergency eject. It is a small hole near the door. This runs the eject mechanism. Straighten a paper clip partly and push into the eject hole, straight in.
It is possible the writer has not completed a write on the disc due to a defect, power failure or a bad disk.
The writer maybe defective and the next disk will also jam.

I had the same problem with my LiteOn dvd re-writer. It appears to be caused by a worn or slipping drive belt. I found the following link helpful http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/other/360belt.htm
After manually ejecting the tray using a bent paperclip, the drive belt was easily removed, washed in warm soapy water, dried thoroughly and re-attached. Tray opened and closed perfectly. Still looking for a new replacement belt though!

give it a tap on the bottom as you press the button, this will force it to release the disc,

I had the same issue with a liteon DVD drive I had. It worked fine and then one day it couldn't write to a DVD if I paid it to. I troubleshooted it for a few days, installed all the latest updates and patches and still nothing. From what I could tell, it baiscally died. So fortunately Liteons are relatively cheap so I just went out and got another LiteOn and it worked just fine. I would consider purchasing a new Drive.

Take a paper clip, bend it, and insert it into the small pin hole on the front of the player. It should be next to the eject button. This will open the tray up manually.

I have got a samsung R700 and every time I try to burn a cd from the playlist it comes up with "error2131"

The tray is either broken, or off track. You may be able to get it back on track by opening the cover and checking it out, but unplug it first, and only try this if warrantee is over and you're feeling brave...
