Generic problem for all Camcorders

No sound on playback

There is no sound on playback on the camcorder even though volume set to maximum.However ,when i play the recording via my television the sound is fine. I suspected a mute facility on the camcorder but i am unable to prove this.

- My Sanyo VPC-E1 used to work fine. Now, however, I can no longer record video with sound. If I play old clips they sound great. I never "turned the mic off" if that is even possible. Not too sure why I don't get video with sound but I'll keep trying... - Charger fan

I think, built-in small speaker is not working. try to replace it.
